Under a carousel of stars
Nature's songbook is opened
the dance begins...
Tree 'boughs' to her partner
Wind sweeps her away...
though shy at first-
she starts to sway
soon, reaching for the sky...
The taller trees
pairing with
the smaller trees;
branches twirling in the breeze...
thinking of you and I;
Leaves join hands
in a chorus line,
hear the crackling of their heels
as they swirl in time...
your name whispered in the air
A lively brook
winds seductively down the hill;
teasing her way 'round the rocks
as she will;
a kiss here, a nudge there
The spirits of the air
howl with envy,
no longer able to partake
of Earthly pleasures...
On the lake
a pair of swans, in pirouette
make a lovely silhouette...
watching as they dip and spin
reminds me of a love within...
I think I saw you there
The woods, alive with romance
where few venture in;
dance performed by Nature,
choreographed by Wind.
Shall we dance?
