Transcendental Sonnet #444:
For Silke on Chemo II

My Silke you are suffering for me
Beautiful young woman how brave you are
I dream of you now in the ecstasy
Of my pure adoration from afar

But I know you will not be far from me
For very long my chosen you will see
That after all these sufferings this pain
The sun will rise to dawn on you again
And you and I will be together then
It is not whether it is only when

My Silke of my sorrow of my joy
I keep the night-watch praying far away
Remember me I whom you call your boy
Come back to me my heroine and stay

I am sure your sonnets are helping Silke feel better, or at least help keep her spirits up during this difficult time of her life.

Beautiful sonnet as always!

Love,
Dara

Thanks Dara, sweet little sister; I have just come to the site to post "For Silke on Chemo III" and was so happy to hear from you here.

I just got a card from Silke, an "I Miss You" card; I think she sent it before the weekend; I will not be able to hear from her until Tuesday morning. But she will be taken these sonnets, so she is reading them.

I believe with all my heart that Silke will get all well, that my transcendental butterfly will rise again.

Solidarity forever.
Silke Lance
Stevie,
you ARE my boy!

...and I LOVE this Sonnet.

(Love you)
