Transcendental Sonnet #442:
Beautiful Dream

Beautiful dream up in the sky here in my heart
Beautiful dream I dare not let go of you
For me to reach the rainbow's end now I must start
Dreaming and believing until you come true
Beautiful dream you never lead me astray
You are all I ever had and have today

If I am to be able to keep on living
If I am to be able to get through this
Then I have to be able to keep on giving
And I will need to keep on getting the kiss
Of hope which only beautiful dreaming can give
Sometimes it seems so scary along the way
It takes a lot of beautiful dreaming to live
To make my beautiful dream come true someday
