Hello,

And thanks tothe 'anonymous' friend who suggested this site might be of interest to me.

Just a short note to let folks know we have a great 3T fMRI system at the U of Oregon and it is available for use to cognitive, clinical and bahavioral neruscientists for conducting functional imaging, very high resolution anatomic imaging, proton MRS and diffusion imaging.

If you wnat more information contact Willow at 541-346-0337 or check the web site (soon to be vastly improved and redone) at http://lcni.uoregon.edu .

Oh, I am mostly a biophysicist/MR physicist with a good background in biochemistry, integrated systems physiology and MR instrumentation.

Ciao,

Ray

MR = Magnetic Resonance. It's a powerful method for visualizing the brain in living subjects, both anatomically and functionally.

Hello Ray, and welcome to the site. I see that you're director of the neuroimaging center. It must be a lot of responsibility.

I would be very interested in your feedback, in terms of what you would like to see on this site (if you have the time). Someone suggested, about a week ago, that I make some sort of online journal club, and I would like to do this, but haven't found the time yet. Do you think an online neuroscience journal club could work or be useful?

I hope you enjoy the site. There's still much work to be done with it, but all in due time.

take care,
Shawn
