Mirror, mirror......

When i look in the mirror each day
i'm amazed at the changes
in what that gal looking back
at me has to say
you know the face is like a story book
and if you look at it in the right light
the story will unfold for you
and to that soul you'll have insight

I think that each of us
should be allowed at least
once chance
to stand in that light
to let our story be read
then it'll be understood
why we said
what we said
you see no two stories are the same
uniqueness is our right
in this world
in this earthly game

When i look in the mirror each night
i'm amazed at the changes
that have occured
since the fading of the light
you know every day creates a new page
in that face that's mistook
because no one stopped to have a read
no one stopped to have a look
