Transcendental Sonnet #435:
In a Field of Clover

I want to live this beautiful dream come true
To nuzzle with you in a field of clover
To sing you songs and recite you poetry
To lightly kiss your sweet body all over

To show you Silke just what you mean to me
That heaven for me is found in your caress
That you mean the world to me and nothing less
I want to spend the rest of my life with you

Butterfly will you stay with me all my days
And grace my life with the beauty of your soul?
My highest hope is to be with you always
Healed by our love two broken hearts become whole

The two of us becoming one are stronger than
We ever were as lonely woman lonely man
