Lonely rose
Fret not yourself
Your beauty
Envelopes my soul

Your presence is felt
More than you know
And will never
Your heart grow old

Once an angel
Will always be
You recite
The sweetest song

May God grant you
Your heart's desire
And all there in
Belongs

Lovely!
Well written.

Whats this, thats barely a poem, theres more to poetry than just stanzas why not just write the same things in lines. *Rolls eyes*

Hello Mac, and welcome among us; I am so glad you have come to join us. We are made much the richer and the better for your having come to be among us here.

Both Silke and I think very highly of your poem. I think it's beautiful, and eloquent in its simplicity.

I look forward to reading much more of your work.

I hope you like sonnets! Have a look at mine when you get a chance.

I am in unbreakable solidarity with you always, my fellow poet and new friend.

Welcome!

Poetry is emotion, what does it matter about structure and the "rules and codes" of poetry... I think this poem is exquizite... (and yes I know I can't spell)...

A lonely Rose
in cellophane wrap
she walks
some shy steps
uncertain
anticipation
this time
he will say
some magic words
to make her stay
longer or until
the night falls down
in a morning hay
or may be she
has to wait
another day
