Composition of Silence
What a masterpiece
to write a symphony of silence.
Would the world die of boredom?
I could compose in the wake
of a dawning morning.
The required tools to create:
A cup of coffee,
A chair and table,
A porch made of wood,
Objectionable opposition.
(don't think that you have to give it a 10 because you liked it.)

This is a good poem, but I can't help but wonder if there is something missing. The message comes across clear as a bell, but perhaps more description would further flesh out the piece, like the smell of the coffee or the colors of the rising sun. Good thought and structure.

coffee, amiss without the whole
chair and table, searching for the half
porch without the linear comfort of the line
symphony yearning within the silence....
this may be absolutely not what you want..but hey, I love music..silence only breeds your own sound and that can truly be a symphony...
