Transcendental Sonnet #393:
Tonight (Mystical Union)
The floor is not flat no mere static plane down there
It is rising and falling and moving around
As active as if it could think and feel and care
In an interactive dialogue with the ground
I find myself dancing with the physics of the floor
I look down at my shoes and see so vastly much more
Than merely up than merely down than merely side to side
It is not either/or it is both/and at least and I
Can see that there is so much more than what the eye can reach
Sweet and strange reality what joy that you can still teach
Wonders at this late hour mysteries which I can live by
Bend in relativity lend a spacetime ear to me
O fluid and dynamic shape-shifting reality
Tonight the miracle takes place: I am one with my bride
