Best Friend I Ever Had

Best friend I ever had... so far away
The woman of my dreams who sends me tea
I think and dream of you all night all day
May you sleep well tonight and dream of me
I send you sonnets and I pray for you
I pray for you a thousand times a day
Yourself an answered prayer a dream come true

There simply are no words to write nor say
Which could ever begin to express how
Thankful I am for you for all you do
Or to tell you how happy I am now
To give you my heart to give you my life
Honor and cherish you make you my wife
And make you glad... best friend I ever had
