Once again I find myself by his bedside
Gazing at the beauty that is his
He sleeps so peacefully
as if his head were resting on a cloud
I am sorry but I can't stay away from him
I'm so addicted to him
like a drug addict seeking that high
the mere sight of him makes my soul quiver
He awakened with a startle, and is frightened
I reached out for him
but my hand went right through his body
sending a jolt of electricity through my soul
and for a brief moment
I saw what made him wake
It was me
We were walking through the city
my hand in his
both of us radiant with love
then fade
There's a car
it hits me with such force
I did not have time to die
my soul left my body on impact
then fade
He held me in his arms
and kissed my lips
crying so hard
his body shook uncontrollably
then fade
He is crying now
and calls out my name
my soul aches from his sorrow
I wish I could take away his pain
