Living a Dream
(repeated revelation)
Oh in my dreams how the seams tear through the sky
Tearing through the clouds to reveal the sun in a most brilliant shine
Planks of wood on every house turn to ash
Conversation turns in respect of the holy glow
That burns in respond to my secret request long since disipated
Brighter now brighter than before bright as could be
Make way for the light that allows us to grow for ever and ever
Even though we forget it's name again and again
Now I remember! I forgot it again!
Lesson learned, the value of sin
I stayed inside a cage for so long
Only to find the key in my palm
Look about! People of Oz!
One day you all will be a memory long since past
The shovels in your hands will escape your grasp
The dew will renew and so shall you
My mind has made you up
You are my dream as it would seem
And so am I, a ghost at most.
