Your poison of the sweetest taste,
My body craves, my mind a waste.
Pulling me inward and down
Bruised lips to form a frown

A hollow blackness that has no name
Bejeweled puppets, containing flame
You fell in to these arms too fast,
And ghosted out, back to the past.

Matchstick dreams, burning bright,
House of cards, without a fight;
My dizzy head still spins,
Tell me again how no one wins.

This flows so well... I'm a little confused on the subject(s) but just wanted to comment :) xxx

I'll put down my ideas that I had while writing this:

Sometimes when two people meet, and there's an instant attraction.
You believe you're in love, go through the motions and the words, and just as suddenly it's gone.... no phone call of explanation, no real communication, just gone. And all that's left are feelings of wondering, hurt, and instant emptiness...

maybe I should have made it a quiz, to guess the meaning smile.gif ...
Try
Yeah maybe you should do that next time, ;)

Though it's probably just be being dumb... I bet everyone else understands it!

Me, out there??? occasionally, for sure....

ya,(SUZIE) that has happend to me before, the attraction was short lived one day your head over heels, the next day he's outta ya mind... you inspired me to write this.........

i thought it was real,
you were dressed to kill
your eyes were of fiery lust
my emotions i could not conceal
everything was right for a split second,
then gone just that fast,
i thought it was real,
i just knew it would last
i thought........
