Of course, I noticed the poetry forum.  Now, I haven't been inspired in over a year or so, but I do have a lot sitting around.  Would it be alright if I posted a couple (and if so, one of the things I've always hated about sharing poetry ("if you meet a man who is a swordsman, show him your sword.  if you meet a man who is not a poet, do not show him your poems" - basho, IIRC) is that I usually just throw it out there and it just sits there... maybe an obligatory, "that's nice"... so any criticism could not hurt and possibly could inspire)?

And in case I haven't made it apparent, I'm the king of parenthetical rambling.
