Transcendental Sonnet #357:
Pledge

Silke my sweetheart my butterfly-girl
I feel your spirit growing stronger now
No longer a dream now soon you will curl
Your fairest rarest frame up here with me
My fairy-bride my fondest fantasy
My miracle come true I know not how
It happened yet it happened we are one
A living waking dream has now begun

My Mausi I will take good care of you
And fight the creepy stalker whom you fear
Come be with me come see that it is true
I promise you he cannot hurt you here
I will restore to you that which he stole
And by my love I pledge to make you whole

ph34r.gif Hey, thanks so much! I needed that!

Silke likes it, and said it was a good one when I read it to her just a little while ago, and now I have a thumbs-up from another site member; things are going well today!

I am always just as pleased with any sort of encouraging word as if it were the very first encouragement I ever heard.

I guess what I mean to say is that nothing has "gone to my head" over the years. Far from it... I always wonder if I'm any good at this at all. In any case, I keep studying, keep practising, and keep trying.

Thanks again for your encouragement; I am in unbreakable solidarity with you, my fellow-poet, always. ph34r.gif
