Transcendental Sonnet #356:
This Lone Lost Boy

A madman am I but I hope a good man
Or good boy as my Silke Mausi says
My heart is pure to do the best I can
To honor Sander and the missing always

I want to live with justice and dignity
I want to give Silke a beautiful life
To make her happy keep her safe with me
Give my life as she has given hers and see
Her bloom with happiness my cherished wife

O God have mercy on this lone lost boy
And make of me a good man in the end
Restore to me my never-found lost joy
And make of me the best the truest friend
Which Silke ever had though I be mad

I would like so much to amount to something when I grow up, and have a nice thick book to present to Silke; we young newlyweds need the money! ph34r.gif

Beautiful sonnet, Steven. You are no longer a lost boy, you have found your true love! Some live a lifetime and can find such happiness as you have found with Silke!

Love,
Dara
