A Little Lullaby For My Baby-Girl
Now snuggle down sweet baby-girl and sleep
And may your dreams be happy may they be
Of love of kindness of security
While I stand guard to keep the dark and deep
At bay away from you now as you rest
My snuggly Silke prettiest and best
Curl up in huge pajamas wrapped up warm
And we will keep the cold outside tonight
Soft is the snow and silent is the storm
To blanket everything in brightest white
So tender and so fragile frail and small
The sweetest little girl I ever knew
Is breathing peacefully curled in a ball
Sweet baby-girl sweet Silke God bless you
