Transcendental Sonnet #343:
Might As Well Be Me
Whenever I feel depressed
I write a silly sonnet
When stressed and distressed and pressed
I don my smartass bonnet
My fool's cap with a jingling bell
To tell the fools to go to hell
My mood swings high my mood swings low
Ridiculous to the sublime
It bottoms out no place to go
But up in silly smartass rhyme
He who laughs last laughs best you see
And I've a laughing deficit
Who laughs last might as well be me
If only for the hell of it
