Stranger
A stranger knows my name.
A stranger knows my face.
A stranger has seen the flame
That makes my heart quickly race.
How can I know peace now?
This stranger knows just too much.
This stranger knows what I vow
Not to harm and not to touch.
This stranger could be a threat.
This stranger could bring my doom.
Im my mind the stage is set.
"I just want to live and bloom."
I carefully set my trap.
I'll catch this robber of thought.
I will weave my web and wrap
this stranger that knows what he should not.
My plan works and I feel joy.
I caught the violator of my space.
I am now free from his ploy.
But then I looked and saw a face.
Now I know that I have failed.
I was just too blind to see.
I have lost this game I played.
Because the stranger was me.
