While Surfing the chaos of the conscious(neural nets) I caught some Quantum Waves of possibility and spawned some new words I
thought should be added to the lexicon of Human Knowledge, here are two of them-
MUTAGENESIS: 1. The creation of new lifeforms, thought forms or Ways of Life specifically concerning, involving, evolving transformations of
consciousness experiencing through form accelerated
evolution through directed mutation by way of
macropsychokinesis and/or Contacting Higher
Intelligence through Contelligent Use of The Human
Nervous System. Contelligence being the combination
or product of Consciousness and Intelligence.
I think there's need for this word to describe much of the creative
activities of the mind.
Quantum-Reality-Tunneling:
1.Surfing the chaos- contelligent experimental
experiential navigation of quantum waves of
possibility, Thought Waves or Mind Waves; going with
the flow of Consciousness's Current of Thought, The
Flowing Consciousness piloting waves of possibilities,
creating and entering new domains of reality, or
permutations of mutating thought forms and/or life
forms , or previously unexplored realms of
possibilities once thought impossible or beyond
comprehension. 2. taking the road, or neural pathway,
less traveled, defying the statistical probablistic
norms of convention, tradition, habit, predictability,
breaking through to previously unknown depths of
consciousness with Active Imagination-awakened
consciousness(as opposed to Passive Imagination-waking
consciousness-reflexive thought reflecting thoughts).
3. exploration of the final frontier-Inner Space,
digging deep within the emic reality(as opposed to the
etic reality, which is merely the surface, the tip of
the iceberg you might say; distinct from internal
observation, looking within ,In-sight, there is much
more than meets the I, - the
passive imagination registers the sensory input from
the synapses as the Active Imagination provides its
own input from within the emic reality) . 4. Reality
Manufacturing. Thinking outside the lines of
Flatland; out of bounds of consensus reality- in the
Psychedelic Shaman's performance of Interdimensional
Psychic Surgery is found the epitomization of the
esoteric injunction "Metaphysician Heal ThySelf" ;
Mind-Manifesting Multidimensional Hyperconscious
Autohipgnosis.
for more info on emic and etic reality see R.A.W.s definitions in "The New Inquisition", or do a search on the web .
There is a developed language of pure mysticism, and one of
intellectual creativity - I like to think this new word of mine (Quantum-Reality-Tunneling) touches the silver lining between the two.
As the epic story continues(WoMan's quest for HirSelf-knowledge{Mutagenesis}) and the accelerated pace of change is quickening, it is becoming more and more apparent/obvious that "contacting Higher Intelligence through contelligent use of the human nervous system" is now an evolutionary imperative.
what follows is a paper I wrote it in1999 for a college course I was taking at the University of Oregon. Amit Goswami, author of "the Self Aware Universe", taught the course "A Quantum Physicist’s View of
Nature". I am posting this in hopes that we(anyone interested) might begin a dialogue on some of these topics , and in hopes that I might get some feedback or we could parlay at greater length, mind-volley if you will.
p.s. a note to the reader: at the time of the writing of this paper my thought was somewhat novitiate and in need of much refining, yet though i would have much to add or subtract to its content, I leave the original paper intact in the Spirit of the Stream of Consciousness which gave it birth(this was stated in my original post which has now been editedinto the post you now are reading to the tune of a few added and subtracted words and sentences).... for instance, some of my speech patterns were not in E-prime, Use of the word "is" and statements such as " " is would be more aptly put as " " seems to me. for those unfamiliar with E-prime and the principle of neurological relativism i'd suggest reading anything byRobert Anton Wilson-
also a quote from leary seems appropriate:
"the performing philosopher does not come down the mountain with truths carved in stone. He/she comes to bat several times a day, trying to whack out a conceptual hit. In baseball, a batter who gets one hit out of three will usually lead the league. A thought-inventor is voted into the Hall of Fame or wins the coveted MVP (Most Valuable Philosopher) award on the basis of batting average over the years. In this book, for example, on-third of the ideas are kinda silly, one-third are kinda boring. But one-third are home runs. When they enter your brains they can impregnate, fuse with your other thoughts and create software for programming your life."

a portion of this book can be found online at

Abstract Forward
A quantum physicist’s view of nature reconciles
science and spirituality by adopting a view of the
whole, which asserts the primacy of consciousness
rather than matter. The apparent paradoxes of quantum
physics find resolution in the perennial philosophy of
monistic idealism, that is, the idea that “All is
One”, and all is consciousness. As such, any paper
expounding the subject is necessarily Quasi-mystical
to the extent that such expositions involve the
mystification of the subjective consciousness of the
inquisitive observer-participant.
Science WithinConsciousness may be one of the best
models we yet have for measuring reality. The scientific
quest for Ultimate Reality may never be completely completed.
The reality of the mystic and that of the quantum physicist
do seem to be overlapping if not converging or merging into
a seamless whole. While it may be true that there is as yet
no final answer in the scientific quest for Ultimate Reality
(as is eloquently expressed in the form of a
Science Within Consciousness(Amit Goswami's new science which i see as a breakthrough to a new level of understanding in terms of the new paradigm of holistic thinking) or in other attempts that may be made to try to explain somehow that there is some kind of fundamental underlying mathematical unity of all that exists.
Parapsychology is allowed by quantum physics,
because “impossible” events, like levitation,
teleportation, telepathy, and precognition are no
longer physically impossible, only “improbable”. And
“probability” can only be computed subjectively, based
on what information we have measured. Schrodinger’s
equations for the path of a quantum wave always gives
multiple results, perhaps indicating that there are
multiple realities. Bohr’s Copenhagen Interpretation
suggests that we exist in every possible reality until
we make a measurement, at which point we end up in one
of the particular possible realities for which we have
measured. How we look at reality helps determine what
form reality takes.
The dominant materialist paradigm, based on the
foundational assumption that there exists an objective
world “out there” which is separate from ourselves,
has been subverted by the worldview of Neorealism.
The new realists find something very real in the way
consciousness relates to the material world. As it
appears to us, theobservers, we are separate from it.
Yet on another level we are fundamentally inseparable,
as the EPR Gedankenexperiment seems to imply. Frow a
Neorealist viewpoint, deep ecological awareness
becomes spiritual awareness. The undivided whole is
manifest in the individual, that which cannot be
divided. That which is one unto itself is
in-divine-duality, or individuality-a nonduality
In light of the discoveries of the quantum, the
spiritual traditions and myths of old (Osiris, Ra,
Prometheus, etc.) all seemingly bespeak of the causal
potency of consciousness as the ultimate creative
force, or free agency. Despite their techno-quantum
ignorance, the intuitive minds of our ancestors
translated the universal truth of quantum
consciousness into their perceptual schemata as a way
to descry how the One becomes many. The answer to the
enigma of the entelechy of existence has been a long
time in coming, yet perhaps we may finally have the
answer we are looking for in the new science, where
science spirit converge. Investigations into the
mechanics of consciousness have lead many scientists
to a direct experience of the “I Am” presence, which
gives meaning to the phrase “No Entity Without
Identity.” The Ultimate Reality which is everywhere
and everywhen as experienced by the mystics is known
as Sat-Chit-Ananda—The Infinite Being, Consciousness,
and Bliss of Spirit.
Scientific revolutions have historically been
based upon objective analysis of systems reduced to
their component parts. Quantum physics suggests the
consciousness of the observer plays an integral role
in the way “matter” behaves. As yet there is no way
to objectify consciousness. The empirical grounds on
which such a radical shift in consciousness must rely
is to be found in the Absolute Subjectivity of
individual experience/consciousness.
In Science Within Consciousness, Amit Goswami’s
perceptual schemata provides an ontological foundation
for parapsychology and cognitive science.
Consciousness is seen as the ground of all being. It
is nonlocal, all-pervading, and beyond time and space.
Accordingly, we may now regard the spacetime matrix
as a holonomic nuocontinuum, or a unified field of
intelligence. The implicate order, of which we are an
explicate expression, is an integral aspect of the
infinite creative intelligence of the universe, which
is self-aware through the vacuum-state biocomputer of
the dual quantum system/classical measuring apparatus
that we call the brain-mind. The brain acts as an
instrument for measuring reality. Mind is a mirror
for Spirit to see itself as though separated into many
forms.
The “implicate order”, as Bohm calls it, is like the
“higher” reality spoken of by mystics. It is the
deeper source, the reality behind the illusion, the
multidimensional heavens. It is like the source of
one’s dreams. The form of a dream, or the form of
reality, could be called the explicate order, what has
been unfolded and shown to Self (experienced,
quantified). The explicate order appears random,
chaotic, meaningless, dualistic. The implicate order
is experienced as meaningful, synchronistic,
conscious, interconnected, like the message and
meaning behind the strange and random events in a
dream.
As the seminal works of Amit Goswami have
demonstrated, ultimately consciousness transcends
matter, is unitive, omnipresent, and singular (SWC).
In such a cosmology Spirit is also vital as the
subject of identification. Matter and Spirit form a
complementarity, as do the Yin/Yang, wave/particle,
Samsara/Nirvana, body/mind, and object/subject
dualities. However, Advaita Vedanta has long held
duality to be illusion, or maya, insisting Pure
Consciousness is the one true reality. Appropriately,
only the direct experience/realization of
consciousness-without-an-object can provide the
understanding necessary to verify such a subjective
reality-quale as incontrovertible mystical truth. Only
then, upon recognition, is the alchemical dross of
materialism deliquesced by the apperception of the
Higher Consciousness in the Illumined Sage. The
sagaciousness of the spiritual luminaries of the past
is at once seen as a concrescence of human
understanding and even a repository of Higher
(Transcendental) Knowledge. To claim otherwise would
be perhaps to lapse into a fatalistically solipsistic
pattern of deterioration and deterministic,
somnambulistic existence, absent-mindedly hypnotized
by our own unconscious projections.
Hence, in addition to a brief synopsis of the
yogic tradition pertaining to matters of the Spirit,
this paper incorporates ideas from a slew of sources,
such as quantum metaphysics, Yoga, sociobiology,
neuro-ecology, shamanic physics, epistemology, quantum
psychology, psychoneuro-immunology, interstellar
pharmaco-anthropology, advanced systems theory, and
holonic field therapy. Quantum theory has deep
implications for all fields of human endeavour, indeed
the scope of the primary topic, quantum physics,
extends into and beyond infinity itself. However, as
time is of the essence I have opted to limit my
research to a portion of infinity. As we shall see,
therein we find the whole within a whole, the
macrocosm within the microcosm, and we have at last
discovered the secret of the creative vacuum in the
golden flower that is the Self-Aware Universe…
Of the Self-Aware Universe: Quantum Physics and The
Science of Spirituality by Anthony
Cantarine
The Newtonian Paradigm of the
mechanical/deterministic clockwork universe has
yielded to a worldview so contrary to the classical
view of nature as a fundamentally deterministic system
that even Einstien could not come to accept it within
his lifetime. A major dispute he had was with quantum
nonlocality. The idea that faster than light
communication between quantum objects is possible went
against every traditional axiom within his
worldview/brain-mind system. This serves to
illustrate
a cogent point. While the implications of quantum
theory
are so staggering as to literally boggle the mind, it
is
nonetheless true that quantum physics has stood the
test
of time in its assertion that the universe is not
fundamentally mechanistic or physically deterministic.
The proverbial “nail in the Newtonian coffin” has long
since been driven, yet the major scientific
discoveries of the holographic paradigm have only
recently begun to penetrate the public consciousness.
In light of emerging trends of modern science and
revolutionary new insights into the nature of reality,
it appears as though the underlying assumptions of the
average domesticated primate’s worldview/reality
tunnel are long overdue for an overhaul.
Fortunately, The Ultimate Reality Check is just
around the corner, as the quantum information age has
spawned the birth of a new awareness that is
facilitating and/or is setting into motion an
irreversible process of awakening bound to
revolutionize the consciousness of mankind. We are on
the verge of an evolutionary quantum leap into a
future that is in a state of quantum flux, capable of
being molded by our conception of ourselves. We are
the capacitors, the strange attractors, the
paedomorphic offspring of the bimillenial generation
destined to sow the seeds of future generations
through Mother Nature’s subtle fractal magick.
Marylin Ferguson has provided a pre-figurative
outline of the coming paradigm shift in her book, “The
Aquarian Conspiracy.” As she so astutely observes,
“Science is now verifying what humankind has known
intuitively since the dawn of history (p. 151).” The
illusion of separation, absence of unity, was
necessary in order for WoMan to emerge as SHe did.
The new science clearly shows that an optical delusion
of consciousness makes it appear as if we live amidst
fragmentation/polarization. There is a “Higher
Reality” beyond the veil of the symbolic mind’s
subject/object partition, a Divine Order to this
Orchestrational Gesture of Cosmic Love that we call
Life. The reality of One Eternal Spirit igniting the
flame of life in all living beings manifests itself in
the symbol of Christ, as the archetype of wholeness,
and God is the cosmic puppeteer working in the deepest
realms of the Soul, the individualized Spirit,
becoming whole. Such semantic delusion/ontological
confusion as has plagued the many generations of the
Piscean “Age of the Fishes” will be gladly cast off by
realized Aquarians as the new species of
hyper-sentient homo sapiens, evolved beyond the
necessarily terrestrial modalities of gravity
(space-time) bound consciousness, emerge from their
cocooned slumber.
With the advent of the holographic paradigm, we
can begin to see how Bohr’s orbits fit into the
archetypal play that Pythagoras once described as The
Music
of The Spheres. The molecular patterns of matter are
seen as the dance of interfering wave-patterns, or
vibrations (Wolf). Superimposed on the major harmonic
vibrations of the Earth are minor harmonics. Fred
Alan Wolf suggests we can conceptualize the major
harmonics as the drone and the minor harmonic
waveforms as the melody, just as is heard in Indian
music with the background drone accompanying the sitar
(Wolf 100).
Nick Herbert’s book, “Quantum Reality” runs
along a similar vein. The neorealist interpretation
of quantum measurement adapts the synthesizer theorem
of waveform development to produce the spherical
harmonic waveform alphabet (Herbert 90). The language
of the Quantum is The Language of Light, universally
translatable in all manifestations of the divine
consciousness. What was once figure (consciousness)
becomes ground and what was ground becomes figure.
At Once, having traversed the abyss of hallucinations,
Spirit is liberated from bondage to ignorance,i.e.
attained Quantum Consciousness(a.k.a.enlightenment)
,through effortless effort, no-attainment is attained.
The lower harmonics of the spectrum
are complemented by the higher harmonics and provide
the accompaniment as the Heartsong of each individual
makes complete the Great Symphony of Existence.
One of the greatest quantum real-I-zations is
that the act of observation is the act of becoming.
Here, one might say, “Reality is in the I of the Beholder.”
The Observer Effect (Heisenberg’s uncertainty
principle) plays a key role in the manifestation of
matter out of potentia, or the akasha if you will.
The wave function collapses instantaneously upon
observation. When put into practice, this insight
leads to what has been called the Maharishi effect, or
what I call the Hundredth Realized Primate Effect. In
effect, we change and the world changes with us. When
we reach the critical mass of awareness, we cross the
threshold to higher consciousness, effectively
translating the heightened individual consciousness
into heightened world consciousness via synchronous
“Higher Brain” coherences, producing self-enhancing
planet-wide nonlocal morphic resonances as described
in David Pepper’s “Modern Environmentalism.” This
field-of-consciousness effect is amply supported by
the Grinberg-Zilberbaum transferred potential
experiments, providing evidence that EPR correlations
occur between human brains (Sarfatti).
The evoked and transferred potential
experiments shed much light on shamanic states of
consciousness and transpersonal experiences. The
shaman evokes a telepathic resonance, or transferred
potential, healing the patient. In his book, “The
Eagle’s Quest,” Fred Alan Wolf suggests this may have
something to do with the vibrational frequencies of
quantum waves of probability (p.176). Experiences of
Universal Mind are generally accompanied by a profound
sense of timelessness and bliss. They tend to have a
transformative effect on the psyche of the individual,
often initiating spontaneous healing processes and
prolonged spurts of creativity.
There exists a subtle energy field surrounding
and connecting all things, with potential beyond
anything we could possibly conceive. Evidence of this
kind of quantum hyper-connectedness exhibits itself in
the feats of yogis, chi masters (i.e., affecting plant
energy fields non-locally via telekinesis, other
miraculous feats/psi-phenomena, etc.) Many of us have
had experiences to confirm this truth. But, having no
words with which to communicate our inner vision to
others, we use words like Creator, Brahman, Eternal
Tao, Great Spirit, or God, meaning that which is
transcendent of all thoughts, ideas, or any finite
percept; this Being conceptualized as the final source
from which all energy flows. The Spirit is within us
all. The purpose of yoga is to reconnect us with this
divine energy in a conscious juxtaposition of matter
and Spirit. Implicit in such an accomplishment is a
sense of divine order and unfathomable bliss; such is
the endeavor of yoga.
With Earth-shattering resonance, the quanta
within this fleshy, bicameral organ flicker as the
cosmic light of consciousness pierces the
microcosmic-post-orbital membrane—various factions
clash organizing “the message”. The mud settles, the
water clears, the light and something goes on in the
neo-cortex region. A signal is sent to the vocal
chords and a big-bang magnitude quantum singularity
manifests itself in the fifth dimension as the two
syllables create a feedback loop within the system
itSelf. A universe full of meaning in that one little
neuron fusing the symbols together forms a bridge
between worlds as the vibrations create sound. The
word emanates from the depths of my being as I give
reply to a silent inquiry… “Yoga”. How can I explain
it? With that one word I knew the liberation of the
Spirit of man was imminent.
Upon first sight of the invisible One, or the
eternal witness--the living (Holy) Ghost, I realized
at once what I was seeing was not new, not something I
had just uncovered for the first time. Indeed, it was
something eternal and unchanging, this Self-my
I-dentity. I knew this was what the ancient ones
speak of, and that the path of Spirit had already been
laid out for me…
In India, as in all lands, this same path has
been spoken of for ages. Yoga was the word the
Indians used for it. The word has no English
equivalent, but is understood in most translations
through its Sanskrit root “yuj,” which connotes a “
binding,” “yoking,” and “union” (Iyengar 19). In a
mystical sense, yoga is the yoke of self, the
unfolding of inner potential. This cosmic egg, the
Self, is like a spiritual sun. From the depths of
consciousness it radiates even in the utmost darkness.
In the dimension of space-time Self has fragmented.
The egg is cracked and Infinity unfolds. The radiant
Self is cast adrift in the formless void. Through
yoga,Self is awakening to its eternal identity as pure
spirit. Life in Unity Consciousness is never a dual
moment.
To understand what yoga is, many things must
happen. First of all, one must be. Being leads quite
naturally to experience, which leads to understanding.
After being for awhile, one must inevitably awaken to
the reality of Spirit. In the world of yoga this is
called Self-realization. At all times, all lifeforms
are undergoing this evolution of consciousness. It is
the most fundamental spiritual principle of existence.
This has been recognized by virtually every culture
on earth. And now it is You and I who stand at
evolution’s cutting edge, witnesses to Eternity.
Yoga offers the spiritual navigator/seeker of
truth a unique method, or upaya, of edification, and
takes on many forms. Hatha yoga is the most familiar
to the West. However, the world of yoga is much more
expansive than its outward forms. To catch a glimpse
of this world, one must look beyond the manifestations
of the material universe and into the realm of Spirit.
It is in the Spirit of ancient India and the
visionary legacy that manifested over 6,000 years ago
in conjunction with the development of Vedic
religion/spirituality, which eventually became the
synthesis known as Hinduism, that we perceive the
roots of Yoga.
The spiritual adepts of that era were called
“brahmins,” meaning “seers” (Smith 56). They spent
much of their time absorbed in meditation and many
rituals were performed with a psychedelic called Soma;
the “Soma” was also considered a god. They sought
self-knowledge, this group of seers that was later to
be referred to, by exoteric scholars and laymen, as
“the Soma cult” of ancient India. The rituals engaged
therein reached their nexus as, the divine beverage of
immortality having been consumed, the ineffable
experience of God-consciousness is granted (Bregenhoj
72). From the depths of their consciousness came
visions of eternity and Ultimate Reality. An
indescribable bliss, they joined in mystic union with
God and saw infinite souls flowing through Him/Her/It.
Then they tried to express it to others among them.
What was left of the oral transmissions of this vision
was later transcribed in the Vedas, literally meaning
knowledge, the sacred texts of Hinduism’s
multiplicitous sects. Beyond all dogma and duality,
yoga is the essence of Hindu spirituality. Authentic
practitioners regard it as the universal pattern of
spiritual development intrinsic to all beings.
Numerous variations exist on the yogic theme.
All are interconnected. Among each of them are
infinitely variegated modes of experience and
potential on the personal level. Each soul has its
unique inclinations, and so, naturally none of these
paths is alike. Yet they are one as the universal
path of Being. As the sioux medicine man Black Elk
once pointed out, “The center mountain of the world is
everywhere (Niedhart).” All paths lead to, return to,
the center …
Among the non-dualists, knowledge of Brahman
is found through intense episodes of meditation,
whereby one realizes the spark of divinity within.
Meditation is turning one’s attention from the normal
preoccupations of life, one’s thoughts, emotions,
etc., to consciousness itself. For this One, his/her
Self is the Creator experiencing Creation through
Creatures; highest knowledge, “jnana yoga” is
revealed.
“Karma yoga” is another major branch of yoga.
Karma is that divine fiat by which one reaps what
he/she sows (Smith 37). In coming to wholeness, each
soul is obliged to co-create its ultimate destiny.
Each waking moment a choice is made to act according
to one’s desire. All actions draw consequences.
Spiritual evolution is creatively bound by this
principle of action/reaction. So if one desires the
fruits of enlightenment, he/she must sow the seeds.
“Seek and ye shall find,” Yahowshua of Nazareth once
said. What we seek is what we desire, and we shall
reap accordingly.
In “The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: On
Concentration of Mind,” Fernando Tola and Carmen
Dragonetti expound upon the basic philosophy behind
the yoga sutras as they were conceived. In its most
ancient form, they say, yoga involves the deliberate
deliverance of the spirit-soul, “purusa,” from the
material modes of nature, “prakriti,” and the false
identification of Spirit with the mental processes of
mind (3, xv, xvi). “There exists a primal matter
(prakriti) which is the origin of the totality of the
sensible material reality. The mind is part of this
reality. In opposition to matter stands the spirit
(purusa) (7).” Thus, we are caught in the flux of
opposites. Yoga is an eternity-long process.
Most beings don’t plan on attaining complete
unexcelled awakening anytime soon. That’s fine. We
have plenty to do in the meantime. Still, yoga has
many benefits to offer the layperson (God incarnate,
in the Hindu system). The yogic tradition teaches
that we are divine beings, engaged in a kind of cosmic
melodrama in which there is a veil of separation that
keeps us from knowing who we are. This illusory
quality of existence is called maya (Smith 70). It
acts as a kind of drug, one might say, buffering the
infinite power of the Soul, which is held to be
identical with the Spirit of Creator, Brahman, or God
as some call it. In this way, Spirit is subjected to
infinite variations of form and experience. Thus,
realization of one’s own divinity is seen to be
thedestiny of all beings, to be fulfilled over many
lifetimes, and the final liberation from the wheel of
reincarnation. This is known as God’s Play. (Smith
71)
“Hatha yoga,” the physical aspect of yoga, was
originally developed as an aid towards meditation, the
means by which Self-knowledge is attained. “Ha” means
sun and “tha” means moon. This is very symbolic. It
means harmonization with the cycles that bring it all
together in the Eternal Present. Much more than mere
physical exercises, hatha yoga is a holistic balancing
mechanism through which more subtle energies are
manipulated and refined for the purpose of achieving a
state of dynamic well-being. Offering manifold
purification, the benefits of the discipline are
numerous and immense. It is a co-creative process
whereby one slowly grows into alignment with the Self,
the final refuge, where wholeness is realized.
Conscious breathing is an important aspect of
hatha yoga known as “pranayama.” “Prana” means “vital
energy,” analogous to the “Chi” of east Asian culture.
Its connotations involve the imprint of a life force
animating all living things; it is like a flame that
ignites and nourishes the energies of life, the
exciter of consciousness. Breathing exercises are
used to enhance awareness and optimization of the life
force within. They may also be used to alleviate many
of the stressors of day-to-day existence. By simply
“taking a breather,” one may utilize this capacity to
control prana and, having clarified his/her
prana-field, enter into a fine state of relaxation or
meditation
It is not enough to practice yoga as a
physical exercise. The notion itself beckons us to
delve deeper within, to find the source of Self, and
grow evermore towards enlightened awareness--
awakening the radiance within. The process itself is
holistic, dealing with all aspects of our existence,
and seeks to attune the practitioner to his/her true
nature, which is that of Spirit—the animating
principle of all life. The challenge is coming to
total peace with all fluctuations, all limitations
bestowed by our materially conditioned nature. We are
designed to live in Unison, as One with many.
A nervous system may become subtly attuned
enough to respond to (receive) and generate (transmit)
non-local quantum vibrations. One’s brain
communicates with hir DNA, which communicates with the
atoms that (temporarily) hold hir form, which
communicates with our space-time continuum. In this
way we may break free from deterministic causality and
experience no-time, the way Einstein suggested photons
experience all-time-at-once. Information and energy
are received, integrated, and transmitted at the
cellular level by way of electro-chemical pulses
regulated by the central processor, DNA. DNA is in
turn regulated by atomic processes. At the atomic
level, information and energy are exchanged via
photons. Everything exists as a nervous system:
galaxies, biosystems, atomic networks all receive,
integrate, and transmit energy, or information.
Nonlocal effects transcend space-time, making
channeling and
visionary states possible. By observing that I exist
in many possible “eigenstates” or “universes,” I can
influence the probability of my Future Self as the
wave function spreads out, collapsing in this
dimension/frequency of incarnation; in other words, I
Am my own Creator. Consciousness:the strange attractor par
excellence, omnipresent Self-awareness-- at all points
and all frequencies-- I Am.
At the Heart of the Matter lies the issue of
free will. The sutratman, or quantum monad, is the
thread of non-local consciousness synchronistically
collapsing possibility waves and connecting the
various incarnations of each individual (SWC 1997).
The conscious Self-system acts as the capacitor,
transducing and transforming the vital (orgonomic)
energy. Info (energy) is received, integrated, and
transmitted at the cellular level by way of the
neuron, the basic unit of biological contelligence.
The neural networks are in a superposition of
quantum “states”, the wave function of which is
collapsed by non-local consciousness. The thinker
chooses what SHe thinks and in doing so the brain-mind
must be acted upon nonlocally, inscribing each neuron
telekinetically from the transcendent domain. If we
did not have a non-local source of consciousness,
all-pervading Brahman, we would have to behave as
classical machines pre-programmed to perform
unconsciously, allowing no room for free will, or
conscious creativity.
Timothy Leary’s book, “The Game of Life,”
presents a metaphysiological-neuroatomic
eschatology/neurogenetic ontology, predicting the
imprinting of the nervous system on to atomic quantum
information fields. A detailed description of the
eight neurological phases of evolution is provided
using the Hindu trinity to symbolize the three
anatomical and functional divisions of the neuron- the
dendritic system (reception/absorption), cell body
(storage/ integration/ interpretation), and axon
(transmission/linkage). “ Each neuron, each circuit
(of the eight circuit model), and indeed, the nervous
system in its totality is divided into these three
functions (Info-Psychology 14).”
As Leary observes, ontogeny recapitulates
phylogeny. The development of the individual organism
is characterized by the occurrence of successive
stages resembling the series of ancestral types from
which it has descended. I can expect, for example, to
go through the sociobiological and neurological
transformations peculiar to human beings (in the eight
circuit model there are 24 stages-- three per
circuit). I share a common bond, phylogenetically
speaking, with every creature on Earth. Several
billion years of evolution has equipped me with the
neurogenetic templating necessary to survival on this
planet, yet certain features of my neurophysiological
makeup remain unique to my individual nervous system.
The finer details of neurologic are beyond the scope
of this paper. Suffice it to say Dr. Leary has done
an exquisite job of fleshing out the “skeletal
structure” of the program called The Game of Life.
The 8th circuit is the quantum-nonlocal
circuit, culminating in Neuro-atomic truth:
atomic-nuclear-quantum signals are registered and
mediated by the brain. The Neurological Octave
corresponds nicely with the kundalini/chakra system
developed by the Vedic seers of ancient India and Amit
Goswami’s quantum functionalism, which also regards
the nervous system as the seat, or throne, of
consciousness.
The nonlocal collapse of the wave function
occurs continuously throughout the entire spectrum of
consciousness and encapsulates, or enfolds, all
conceivable patterns of activity within the sapiens
system (the universe). An EPR type of nonlocal
connection is necessary over the width of the cortical
tissue at the molecular level at the neuronal synapses
in order for intelligence to operate (SWC 1997).
Proprioceptive stimuli give us the necessary insight
to show how the psychophysical parallelism of
mind-body interactions are maintained through the
intermediary of consciousness (SWC 1997).
Rarely do we realize the extent to which our
daily lives are infused with magick, or the creative
capacity to effect change inaccordance with the will.
The telekinetic effects of mind upon matter in the
brain are necessary in order for Spirit to exert its
power of will in everyday affairs. There is a high
level of uncertainty inherent at the sub-atomic level,
where the brain meets the mind. The neurons behave
according to classical physical laws and to the laws
of quantum mechanics, in accordance with the
correspondence principle. The particles composing the
atoms are in a state of quantum flux. The position
and/or momentum remain indeterminate, in potentia,
until an observation, or choice, is made, at which
point the thought, or wave function, manifests into
actuality as a particular firing sequence of neurons.
This kind of Eccles (gateless) gate capacity, which
allows for the entry of mind into matter, can be found
in all Self-Referential systems dominated by
sub-atomic fluctuations. All exhibit that peculiar
capacity known as consciousness, or life.
The famous double-slit experiment shows how
consciousness, by exercising its freedom of choice,
creates the material world. Superluminal Bell-type
interconnectedness occurs as quantum measurements are
made “inside the brain-mind of the observer (Goswami
1993)”. The Self-referential dual quantum
system/classical measuring apparatus of quantum
functionalism is the result of the actions of a
tangled- hierarchical mechanism in which all
possibilities are contained.
Synchronicity, a phenomenon once relegated to
parapsychology, can now be understood within the
context of quantum functionalism. Science Within
Consciousness regards all objects as quantum objects.
As such, all possibilities exist within consciousness.
The implications of synchronicity are utterly
profound. Since the inner psychological state
correlates meaningfully with the objective outer event
without the inner state causing the outer or vice
versa, we must discard the old notion of consciousness
as an emergent epiphenomenon in favor of a more
holistic worldview compatible with the acausal
connective principle characteristic of
synchronicities. With the notion of downward
causation we enter the realm of quantum wyrdness
(Wolf)-invoking the magical, mystical connotation.
Aspect’s delayed choice experiment demonstrates the
causal efficacy of consciousness in a wyrd way.
Retrocausality implies that events in our four
dimensions are caused not only by other
four-dimensional events but also by events
(intentions, measurements, thoughts, etc.) in the
implicate orders; this is why we cannot predict “the
future” by knowing only about the physical.
In his book, “Synchronicity: The Bridge Between
Matter and Mind,” David Peat describes the manner in
which mankind has constructed our historical version
of reality as a linear progression in which our
conceptualization of time inherits the present from
the past, and the future remains relatively determined
(p. 234). In the new vision, synchronicities are the
Crack in the Cosmic Egg. In Peat’s words, “
synchronicities have opened a window into a creative
source of infinite potential, the well-spring of the
universe itself. They have shown how mind and matter
are not distinct, separate aspects of nature, but
arise in a deeper order of reality. Synchronicities
suggest that we can renew our contact with that
creative unconditioned source which is the origin not
only of ourselves but of all reality (p. 241).”
Quantum physics posits a deep-reality theorem
of psychic interconnectedness in which the
consciousness of the individual observer is
inextricably intertwined with that which is observed
and may influence probability waves at the quantum
level. In order to do this consciousness must act
nonlocally. Perception, intuition, and creativity
play a key role in accessing the latent potential of
our higher (Quantum) selves. Freedom of creative
self-expression implies a discontinuous jump from the
conditioned ways of the classical (ego) modality of
permutative thinking into the primary processes of the
quantum self experience, which occurs solely in the
transcendent domain (SWC).
Nonlocal correlations allow for a variety of
psi-phenomenon, or Siddhis, such as telepathy,
clairvoyance, precognition, telekinesis, and O.B.E’s.
Quantum tunneling effects within the microcosmic
domain could also account for a variety of psychic
phenomenon, including Self-accelerated evolution, or
directed mutation by way of macropsychokinesis. If we
can influence the probabilities of random number
generators in computers, we should also be able to
influence the probability distribution of the
electron, or any other sub-atomic particle, for that
matter. This could easily be applied to the current
dual quantum system/classical measuring apparatus of
quantum functionalism with coherent superpositions
within the microtubules of the brain.
The strong anthropic principle is now a
veritable fact. We were meant to be here, and we can
no longer deny the reality of Spirit. Material
realists who insist on viewing consciousness as an
emergent epiphenomenon arising out of brute matter can
no longer claim scientifically that this is so.
Conscious creativity is a product of free will and, as
such, is nonalgorithmic in origin. Those who wish to
cling to the material realist viewpoint confine
themselves to an experience of reality in which we are
merely animated stardust, a chance collision of
interfering probability waves which have no say, and
no response-ability, in the ultimate outcome of this
game we call life. In such a scenario, free will is
an illusion and we are classically conditioned
machines incapable of creative expression outside of
the pre-programmed, genetically templated
reality-tunnels in which we eke out our gloomy
existence. In each and every instance the singularity
of consciousness is the deciding factor. As the
idealists would say, in the end the
choice is up to you, my friends.
