Is there anyone here who is into photography, cameras or the beauty of a well taken picture? I am one of these people who carries my camera wherever I go, snappping pics of all I see! I just love pictures!
I just got a new camera to take pics with as my old one broke, and I got a 70-300 mm lense for it! WOW, I have dreamed of this lense for years now and I FINALLY OWN IT!!! If I can ever figure outhow to post pics here, I will put some of my favorites on this forum!
So, anyone else into photography?
Love,
Dara

I enjoy taking photographs, and also it is part of my college course. I would post some photos of my cat or some landscapes if I could figure out how!
I like weird pictures, like landscapes, never people posing. People are difficult. Theres a big country park near where I live that I like to go with my camera. It's kind of old. I like it though. It has coloured lenses, which rock!
But I am only seventeen and very much a novice!

Hi folks,
I did have a great interest in photography when I was younger. I had a dark room set up, though I never advanced beyond black & white!
Regarding the uploading of your pictures, Shawn has posted an article previously and the link is

Best regards, Bill.

Try,
I agree, I enjoy taking pics of my animals and of nature much more then people. I dont know why, I just get my inspiration from the candid scenes all around us. I hate to tell people, "SMILE" and take the pic, it seems phony to me...but that is just me!
Tell me about your cat, I would love to see a pic too. Do you see my sweetest Bart on the pic here? She is so pretty. I had a bettter pic of her here recently, I have to switch back!

Dara

Hi Dara,
I agree with you about 'stilted' pics of people.
I got over it quite well by using a camera [film] with a wide angle lens which I kept at chest level on its 'chain', which was around my neck. The trick was to take pics without the person knowing I was taking them [at least the first one].
This way I had 'true' pics rather than poses. It obviously worked best with children.
Bye for now, Bill.

Good idea Bill! What I do is use my zoom lense, so I can be pretty far form my subject and still get a good pic as if I am close to them. These are the best pics! Candid smiles are always prettier then the posed ones!
I just got a 300mm lense too, so I can be REAL far from my subjects now!
I have a closet where I store endless shoe boxes full of pics. I have photo albums, pictures in frames all ove my house. My fridge looks like an advertisement for Kodak film

...I am a picture fanatic!
Love,
Dara

Hi Dara,
I do agree Bart is lovely. You are totally right about the fake sense about posing for a photo. Cats are rarely like that.
My cat is called Jesse and is male, he is a common little tabby cat. He is such a fighter. I noticed the other day he has two front teeth missing! I will have had him for eight years in February. He is my angel.
The other cat in my household, I have kind of adopted her, is Ophelia, a pedigree Maine Coon with lucious thick fur. I will attempt to post some photographs later in the week. Although I must admit they are not at all brilliant.

Hi there, I am new here.
Talking about photography... Great ! Well... I love casual takes that sync beauty moments and human emotions. Specially the ones taken at festivals and partys. Actually I had covered some of them in South America where I come from.
I use to call my gallerys
" still reviews " and they try to be graphic documentaries of those events. Most of them, psychedelic trance largest festivals that happend in this area.
I am developing a collection with them I called
emotracks. this is also the nick name I use to take at the forums.
I love to introduce my pictures to all of you, thanks so much.
