As I sit here, away from you
Despair swarms my being
I miss you immensely
I miss touching what I’m not seeing

My open arms find emptiness
Sadness weighing heavy now
Surfacing cries struggle to flee
Hopes and wishes take their bow

The days grow long
The nights are insomnious
I am lonely and tormented
With thoughts of nothingness

I long to greet you, to share your eyes
To spiritually merge, and consume you
Many more days continue demise
In painful time, this dream will be true

Very good and strong and well-made.

I can certainly relate! I know this feeling.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you, and to thank you for sharing this good poem with us here.

I extend to you my friendship, in unbreakable solidarity.

Namaste.
