Transcendental Sonnet #257:
This is the Girl

I went out on a very long walk today
And I saw a lot of thought-provoking things
It was good that the store was so far away
Necessity mother of invention brings
Me into contact with opportunity
If only to see the sky and watch the clouds
Wandering the back streets independently
Of holiday shoppers clotting up in crowds

Alone with my thoughts of Silke and the sky
Where I fancied I could see our destiny
Written in gossamer and billowing high
There in the clouds our future for me to see
Nor can there be the slightest shadow of doubt
This is the girl I have always dreamed about

Again, another heartfelt Sonnet.
What treasures you keep for your love. Priceless.
We should all be that lucky as to feel this fortunate to share in the love and warmth you two obviously have for eachother.

Blessed Be!

Hey Hey
The rhymes are smooth and sweet. What better?

I really enjoyed the first stanza, I can identify a lot with the walk-for-thoughts smile.gif,
another good write. How are you and Silke doing? Sorry I have not been on much lately.
