Transcendental Sonnet #223:
Blue Star

Silke has so many forms so many faces
A tower-maiden an elf a blue butterfly
A mermaid an angel of gossamer graces
And a little blue star shining up in the sky

A multifoliate mystical rose is she
Ethereal ineffable creature of dreams
The most precious of treasures which ever could be
A fragile fairy but much stronger than she seems

She is the air in my lungs the blood in my veins
The sunshine in my sky the light by which I see
She bears within herself all sorrows and all pains
She is my very life and all the world to me

And etched upon my skin is her blue star tattoo
Sign seal and symbol Silke I belong to you

This is but one of two hundred and twenty-three of my Transcendental Sonnets, and there will eventually be a thousand of them, but this one is special.

To any Lance-haters out there who make it a point to avoid my sonnets:

Why not give this one a try? This could well prove a portal into a new world...

Don't believe everything you are told about the Black Baron; your soul is not in danger, not at all...

Do something dangerous today: read my sonnets.

I am in unbreakable solidarity with all people of goodwill, whether members or guests, who come to be among us here.

Namaste.

You know I just love this one. I am certain many people have read it and loved it too. How could anyone not feel the love you have for Silke in this sonnet? WELL DONE! Keep posting them sonnets!

Love,
Dara wink.gif

Thank you so much, Crissy and Dara, with all my heart.

I think this is the best one. I just spent a wonderful afternoon and evening with my daughter Maria, who also loves Silke, and she agreed with me that this one is the best; she also loved my new tattoo. We packed up Christmas boxes for kids in Africa aged 4-9, some boys, some girls. And I never felt better about writing checks, either. Good times.

Love! Love is really the key to everything! Love gives me hope and happiness; love for Silke, for kids in Africa, and for you two dear friends.

Thanks again, and I send you my love tonight.

We are in unbreakable solidarity, now and always.

Peace.

Steven, i love all of your sonnets that I have read. As usual, this one is simply beautiful. I have bcome acustomed to reading your sonnets. I hold you in a special place with my creepy little thoughts tongue.gif.

As far as the love aspect goes, there is nothing like a good old fasioned romane full of passion to make every cloudy day seem flawless.

Blessed be!

Blessed be (you must know about me 8) )!

Your thoughts are not creepy nor little at all.

I am so happy that there are some people who read my sonnets regularly; thank you! There was someone here on the site just yesterday who posted these words in reply to one of my sonnets: "We all laugh in your demise." So you can see how welcome your kind words are, especially as compared to those words of malice.

I am so happy also that Silke is pleased with this sonnet. I guess all this practise is causing me to gradually become better at sonnetry.

And my blue star tattoo is very cool, too.

All my love to all, except for the person who said "We all laugh in your demise." (I have this nasty little habit of never forgetting things like that wink.gif ).

Solidarity!

It's too bad that people can't come up with their own creative outlets to express themselves other than visciously attacking someone else's feelings. People like that... >:( Wow, that type of attitude relly burns me. I wouln't even deal or liten to that infantile response!

blessed be... how would I know about you?? All I know is that I am tired of feeling like I may be ridiculed for my beliefs... hence "Blessed be" I have found an odd comfort on this forum... I feel accepted lol. So, my theory on that guy who commented so cruely... he obviously doesn't know about the W. reed.

Keep `em coming!
Blessed be! ;D

I never ridicule anyone for their beliefs...

...well, I might be TEMPTED to ridicule a narrow-minded person...

But I would try REALLY hard not to, honest!

It wasn't a guy, it was a girl (if not a lady).

You're pretty cool.

Blessed be! 8)

I like it smile.gif

I don't comment on the poems, etc, I am only here to keep order and comment when something ticks me off so if I am quiet assume I like it wink.gif
