I need info on Northern Ireland and the Irish Republican Army if anyone has insights or web sites. I am writing a paper on it, due Saturday.

I've not looked at any, but presume they should be useful.

I add a poem of mine - I don't know much about the history, but wish a more psoitive approach could be adopted toward a resolution of the problems.!

Ay, Are I Backwards ??

They operate in secret
in order just to impress
their will on simple people;
to cause some more distress.

Their bombs keep going off
even though they're new.
They even changed to plastic ones
but then the problem grew!

Why don't they get some new ones
or keep them in a fridge?
They will go out of business
for creating such carnage!

They say what they are after
is a return of all their land.
But if in the end they win the battle,
they'll just be left with ash and sand.

Why don't they look to a peaceful future
and work very hard to make it last?
We all should consider teaching children
better than did our grandparents of the past.

I have been well. Just busy. I am working 20 hrs/week and have also returned to school full-time. It is exhausting but rewarding. Anyway, may I have permission to quote your poem in my paper? I liked it alot.

That poem was a little bit on the 'light' side, bit nonetheless carried a very valid message which I think is applicable to most world-wide conflicts!
