Shawn
hi everyone,

I've set things up so that you can now upload your image files to the BrainMeta.com server. You can use this new feature to upload images and artwork to show to others in the Art Board (or any board for that matter), and you can also use this feature to upload pics to display on your profile.

If your images and artwork are on your hard-drive, then you can upload them to the BrainMeta.com server and show them to other people by inserting the url of the image between the [img ] and [/img] tags. Please see the Help section or ask one of the moderators or myself if you have any problems with displaying your images once you have them on the BrainMeta.com server.

To upload your images, use the following url:
http://brainmeta.com/uploader/
The image formats must be either .gif, .jpg, or .bmp, and also, I have limited the upload size for individual images to 100 KB for security reasons. If you have an image that is larger than this, then try reducing its size. If you have any problems, please let me know.

take care,
Shawn

Hi Shawn thank you so much for making this wonderful feature made possible! I have a reall cool pic I wanted to use for my profile but it is coming up saying that it exceeds the limit for uploading. How do I make it small enough to use I hope you can help!

Thanks,

Much Love,

Chrissy;

You will need to open it in a graphics program and lower the resolution. You should then be able to upload it easily. If you have photoshop open it and then choose save for web. Photoshop will then give you options for the resolution and you must choose medium or less. If you are not using PhotoShop let me know what you are using and I will find the exact instructions for you.
