As unbelievable as it may be, most of the quotes that I post, including this one, is from my own head.

Sometimes these quotes just pop out during a conversation, usually when I am trying to offer "words of wisdom" to a friend.

I seek no glory for my few quotes, but sign myself as 'portery', which I chose years ago as a pseudonym when I started writing what I call poetry. It is purely to show the source.
[mind you, if you look up portery in Google you'll just get links to saddle-makers!
