first, I'd like to apologize for my absence, but I've been very busy with work, and this will likely hold until after a neurosci conference which ends in mid-November. If anyone has any problems, or needs any help, I can still be reached though, either through email or the forum.
Also, last week or so, I introduced a slight change to the forum, courtesy of someone else's very thoughtful and intelligent idea, so that forum info and members online are now visible at the top of the page.
Anyway, I just wanted to check in on things and let everyone know that I'm still alive.
Here's a gift: a neuron that I took a pic of earlier today on a microscope.... there are literally a HUNDRED BILLION of these little fellas in your brain, giving rise to your thoughts and your consciousness, right at this very moment.
