Hello my dear girl, and welcome to our site, with all my heart.

My name is +Steven.  I am a poet and composer, and I spend a lot of time here.  I am Poet in Residence hereabouts.

I see you have been greeted by my dear friend Shawn, and that is good; he is very nice and will be most helpful to you.

I am happy to greet you in this way as well, and I would also tell you that my sister Dara is here too, as well as my daughter +Franziska; we three are Moderators here.

We don't have any sort of age restrictions or anything like that.  I have a wonderful twelve year-old son named Teddy, and he is certainly not the sort of person who should ever be restricted by age!  "Adults" have much to learn from those whom they consider "children."

If you would be interested in reading my poems, you can see my recent ones here on our poetry board; for example, just today I posted my Transcendental Sonnet #24.

If you would be further interested, I have a poetry homepage, at:

http://brainmeta.com/poemdirectory/stevelance.html

Should anyone say anything unpleasant about me, do not hesitate to ask Shawn, Dara, or +Franziska about it; there are a few members gone sour hereabouts through self-pity and general maliciousness, apparently, so I don't know what you might read of me; I employ a new software function which protects me from their posts, for they had become tasteless and offensive.

But I assure you, I am not the devil, nor am I even the slightest bit unpleasant.  I have four children and many dear friends, and four hundred and some wonderful members here on this site which Shawn, Dara, and I created.  I hope you will never be swayed by the petty backbiting of a few failed poets and mentally-disturbed individuals lurking in the shadows (don't worry, they won't hurt you; indeed they will probably be sloppy nice to you... they only mean to hurt me, but I find them so funny that their impotent fury is in vain).

All my love to you, my new and dear friend!

I am in unbreakable solidarity with you, always!

Do keep in touch.

Unfold like the lotus.

Namaste.
