I have sent IM's to some new members who have not posted!
I now understand, that strictly speaking this a form of spamming; ie., sending unsolicited mail.

I do apologise to all such members, and assure each of you that my intentions were honourable. I can see, however, that it could be perceived to be intrusive, though no-one has complained.
