Hey everyone!
Here I am again a moderator of yet another forum at this wonderful site! I am so honered to be here! Thank you to Shawn and all the others for making this possible I can never than you enough.....
This topic of 9/11 is dear tomy heart it has touvhed me deeply as I am sure it has touched us all as a nation! I want this forum to be a dedication to all the men and women firefighters, police rescue workers ana all who risk their lives to help save others! These men and women are true heroes and should be honered and commemorated for their dedication and hard work! I want to also dedicate this forum to those who lost loved ones for they need to be commended for being strong enough to go on living after this horrific attack! These people are true survivors! Let us not forget those who died saving lifes or those who died as innnocent bystanders! :'( An errie saddness rang across the nation that day as innocence was lost to a senselesss act of terror. I collect songs with video clips songs with words of survivors and words of our nations president and these song tear at my heart! :'( They make me think about my life and how I can't take it for granted any longer! I have a t-shirt my fiancee got me this past christmas and I wear it proudly as we are still one nation under God! I believe on that sullen day we proved that there is only one color in America. Thought it was a sad and horrible tragedy as with many horrible tragedies we come out with positive things with all expereinces good or bad there are lessons to be learned we came together as a nation and relized how precious life is! We became more patriotic and security has been tightend but is still sad that it took a senseless tragedy to make this happen. I rember once thinking how could this happen we are one of the strongest nations in the world! I had the it will never happen to us attidute as I am sure many of us did! But we learned on that heartwrenching day we are not invinsible! we are vulnerable but we are als much stronger because of this! I remember when I was in my university and word hit about this! It was like the whole world stopped and for weeks there after the whole world mourned! It was a devastating shock! I rember crying as we had a candle vigil service at our university and how it began to rain like tears from heaven as God mourned with us as we hugged each other even our worst enimies and thanked God to be alive! We cried I cried! and to this day it seem so unreal and the candlewax like angry tears remains at my old campus as a reminder of that sullen day! I am looking forward to talking more about this topic and hearing others views all views Thank you for reading and i look forward to the growth of this site! God Bless you all and God Bless America.
Love Always,
Chrissy
