You are beautiful, Chrissy; eternally and altogether lovely. Let the conversation continue! This is the day upon which my mother was born in 1934, January 24th. She passed away on November 23rd, 1998. She was a disabled person, as am I. I was in the process of passing away for the last two and a half months, with the same pneumonia which took my mother and later my dearest, sweetest Grandma on November 8th of 2001. But I am getting well now. It is all very strange; I was really supposed to die--the pneumonia was the killer strain which is completely resistant to all treatment, and which ends the purgatory of the nursing home routinely--but I didn't. But I have been supposed to die before. I have this annoying habit of resurrection. For example, the recent nonsense involving a miniature webmaster in Columbus, Ohio, an anal retentive who believes me to be, quite simply, the Antichrist, the Beast, 666. I think he might have an exaggerated sense of my cosmic importance... In any case, here I am... Living well is the best revenge, and laughing last is laughing best. And I am laughing now.

I second that thanks to Shawn! I am absolutely THRILLED to have the abuse forum here. I know it will help make this site grow and grow! Along with Chrissy, +Steve, and all the loyal members to our site here, things are just going to take off!
I love it here, and I am so thankful for you, Shawn!
As for what you said, +Steve, YES...living well IS the best revenge! I believe that with all my heart!
Love to all, Dara

Thank you, Chrissy and Dara, for your kind words and appreciation. They mean a lot to me. Let me say, in turn, that both of your boards are over important topics, and I think it's admirable what you're doing, and will do what I can to facilitate your objective of helping others. If ever there's anything either of you needs or wants, and that's within my power to do, please don't hesitate to ask, either privately or publicly, as it would be my pleasure to help in whatever way I can. I'm really looking forward to seeng your boards grow, or as Steve might put more poetically, 'blossom'. I'm hoping but am confident that my efforts to attract and direct more people to this forum will mean, among other things, that more people will derive benefits and will participate in your boards. And I wish you both the best in your endeavors, both here and elsewhere.
best regards,
Shawn

Steve,
You are a true survivor! Perhaps the power and beauty of those before you now lives in you, and their eternal power aids you in hard and difficult times. May your light continue to shine!

Chrissy,
Yes, it was me who left that feedback! I was upset to see your forum and the abuse forum disappear, and was wondering if something more sinister was occurring..... So glad to see (?) you again! People of love and support once more - what the world needs more of!
All the best,
Peta.
