I should probably post this in the political forum too I was just wondering how you all feel toward this as compared to your feelings for 9/11 do you feel as strongly or less strongly. Some may have lost a loved one to this senseless tragedy but many are also letting go of loved ones who are being shipped off due to this war....There are many questions but few answers ??? Do you think this war with spark another event like 9/11 there has been some talk about chemical and biological weapons and warfare?????? Another terrorist attack?????
Just some questions hoping ot promote conversation

Chrissy,
I hate war, I hate fighting, suffering and innocent murders, but it sems like we are in a war and I have tio deal with all the above mentioned things I HATE! I guess it had to be done, or maybe there could have been anther way? I dont know, I just feel that when ONE person dies, that is ONE too many!

I don't agree with the war! It makes me very sad and I get a sinking feeling in my stomach! I hate fighting and I don't watch any news on the war for fear of hearing things to make sadder! :-[ My dad keeps right on top of it though and knows alot more details than I as soon as I heard we were at war that was enough for me to hear! I just pray for our soldiers and our country as a whole that everyone comes back safe........ I am very very politically incorrect I don't know why we are fighting etc my knowledge of the war is very slim I bury my head in the sand and I know deep down that is wrong but it is sorrta like how I would always try ot avoid my pain.....I want to avoid hearing about pain and heartache of this cruel war :-[ :-/ :'(
Do you think there will be any more terrorists attacks as a result of this war that is a fear in the back of my mind?? ???

I wrote this for my grandchildren, my daughter is in the infantry and her husband is a police officer.
Thoughts From The Protectors Child
by Theresa
Momma got us up today,
She was dressed in her battle gear.
We're to drop her off at the base,
She recieved the orders we feared.
Dad came home from work early,
Still wearing his riot gear.
Momma's going to a war far away,
She told us, "Be good for your father my dears."
Some of the kids at school say terrible things,
I don't tell Momma 'bout what I hear.
But Dad already knows...
The kind of things they jeer.
Seems like he's been
Protecting the protestors all year.
