Dara,

I just came back from New York.  I spent some time in the big city and a few days upstate.  Not that it was exactly a vacation, but I did get to do a little bit of sight-seeing in the city.  I was born and raised in New York State and had never been to NYC.  It was really quite an adventure.  I give you a lot of credit.  I definitely couldn't live there.  Give me the wide open spaces of the midwest - the heartland of America.

By the way, I'm glad I found you all here.  Thanks for helping to make this feel like home.

Much love,
Becky

Oh, I am so happy that you are done with that scarey appointment! Thank you for telling me about it. I iwas wondering, but I wasn't sure if I should bring it up, incase you didn't go yet! How nice that your husband went with you for support, and he held your hand! Awww...he loves you!
My husband always tells me he will go on appointments with me, and I thank him, but refuse. I need to b alone at times like that, I don't knwo why, but I feel more stressed with someone there.
When I was pregnant last year, I had my husband and my friend in the room for an internal sonogram. Of course, I am covored up, but STILL, I was SO nervous, so out of it, becuase they were in there with me. Well, at least that was a good sonogram, I got to get a picture of the baby, and see the heart beat...for the last time. The next sono was the one I will never forget, the one where i found out the heart stopped beating. My life changed that day, and I have NEVER been the same since that loss, nor do I think I ever will be...
WOW, where did that come from? We were talking about YOUR appointment! I am sorry to change the topic. Anyhow, I am happy for you that it is behind you!
All my love to you, Dara wink.gif
