Have you noticed that our community's members range in age from about 13 through 50-something?  Nobody ever gets dismissed as being too childish and immature, or too old and "out of it".

I think that's great, especially for our younger friends.  Young people have so few opportunities to interact with adults other than authority figures -- parents, teachers, coaches, clergymen.  It's nice that teenagers can come here and be treated as peers and equals, not as kids.  And, as one of the more (ahem) mature members, I really enjoy and learn from the youthful perspective.

Caring for others, and being willing to help them, is something universal. It is not limited by age. That caring attitude, and the love for others is what makes us all family here.

i agree with you. when i first came on here i thought ui was the only persoin who was 15 and that you gusy were all old like REALLY old and taht you would look down on me and have a holy than thou attitude.. only you didnt. and you showed me wats its like to be a family.. and to love people.. and have people love you which i didnt have much of. and i thank you very much.. and my day revolves around getting on here and talking to you people becasue yoau re so sweet and loving.. evry one of you.. and +Steven Curtis Lance, and Dara thank you so very much for making me feel welcome when i first came here.. i did think eveyone would be rude like a different message boarrd i was at but you gusy made me feel at home and eventually everyone else was my frend, but more than my frend,  my family.. I agree with you Lori! It is wonderful how we all get along so well, regardless of age. I learn things form the youngest as well as those older then me. It comes with having an open mind, and realizing that EVERYONE has something to offer to others!

Im 13 and when I first came to the site I was the baby
but people still took me serious even though they new I was young

age has no factor in Friendship or love or even Life! So take comfort in our strength! as age brings us together not apart!

Right on Bill! Learning should never stop, we will live a lifetime and still not know SOOO much. Why limit ourselves, our brains. to school ages only?
