a beautiful picture I came across while scanning my hard-drive:

after evoking some sentimentality, it got me thinking: doesn't this pic beautifully and tastefully capture the ideal of love, that two shall become one, in body, soul, and mind?

Amazing what a single image can do, reviving romantic ideals seemingly put to sleep thru neglect, and allowing one to better appreciate one's significant other, and be truly grateful for what one has been inclined to more or less take for granted.

Real love should never be taken for granted; a lesson brought home to me tonight by this image.

i suppose it depends on how we see something,
different people, different way of looking at something,
personally i think its more carnal.

now when i look at this picture-i agree with what you think it depicts-but to me i also see that the woman is hurting, and the man, perhaps her one true love whom she knows will be the one to never desert her......well in thinking that-this came to mind.........

"Angel"

Her world came crashing down
All that she once knew was gone
No reason to live left in her mind
She’d become so withdrawn

Her tears she hides at night
Crying them softly into her pillow
This hurt goes deeper than any before
Over her entire body it billows

Surrounded by a world of darkness
Despair and loneliness consume her
She can’t see through her crying eyes
The cold dark world becomes a sad blur

But standing beside her strong and sympathetic
Is her one true love
The man she knew would never turn on her
Sent down from above

As she sobs by herself at night
No matter where she is, he hears
Always by her side to comfort and hold
To absorb the sadness and wipe the tears

Her life came crashing down
And she thought all meaning was destroyed
But she looks into his eyes and knows
That he will forever fill her every void
