Hey ya'll!

I am starting a thread of ideas of what you think the "perfect date" should be?! I want to compile the results of all your ideas and see what we get! What are your thoughts or feeling about a first date?? What would you be willing to do on the first date and what you wouldn't be willing to do?? Would it be sensual romantic or double date? or would you go to Mickey D's or a fancier restaurante??? What expections should one have on a first date?  I am courious and what your all views are??? Who should pay for the date??

any other ideas???

ok maybe this is sorta like blind date 2 Hahaha

Love always,
Chrissy

not stupid at all Anne! Cuddling is good it brings about a closeness between two people something that should be shared more often so many time we are to busy to appreciate the simple free things in life and I think this being one of them! Great idea Anne thanks for sharing!

Cooking a romantic dinner for my loved one. Looking across the table at her and realizing how lucky I am to love someone so much. After dinner, sitting together and just holding each other, kissing each other, and knowing that our life together is just beginning.

Let me rest my weary head on your strong shoulders whisper sweet tender melodies in my ears and feed my heart with love to keep me warm! Let us just sit in front of the cracking fire watching it dance off the walls in shadows that are shaped emblems of true love in the making! The nite is young and tender full of endless possibilties let my wings soar to touch the velvet sky and bring them back down again to wipe away your tears when you cry!

OK, I a REALLY weird, the perfect date for me WOULD NOT involve food. I hate to eat out, or in...LOL

It should be high energy and fun, like going to a rock concert, or to play pool or bowling. I love to walk on the beach, or walk through Manhattan. Going to see a Broadway show, or going to a night club. Karaoke bars are fun too, give me a few drinks and I will be singing in no time! ohmy.gif

So, there is my activities for a date...not all in one night mind you, but any of those would make me a happpy girl!

Love, Dara wink.gif

An amazing date to me would be strolling across the beach in the moonlight hand in hand. Eating a meal in candlelight on top of a blanket by the ocean shore. Dancing evermore to the heartbeat of two lovers beginning their adventure together. When sandman hits the eye, each lay wrapped up together till dawn hits the sky.

Hey Chrissy,

Great discussion thread, Lips!  :)

Like my friend, Dara, I'm not fond of food-related events.

My perfect date would be centered around the same sorts of fun activities that I've enjoyed for my entire life -- going to a baseball game, spending the day at an amusement park and riding all the roller coasters, visiting the beach, or taking a long, scenic walk.

I guess I've never bought into the whole notion of "wine and candlelight" romance.  For me, the perfect date simply means being your ordinary self, but with someone very special along to share in the fun.

Yours,
Lori

Hey what's up Lips! (Lori)  ;D

Thanks for continuing my tradition! ;D  Some great ideas but to bring about a very important topic you brought up and that was being your ordinary self alot of us forget this and especially on dates because we feel we have to impress our other but the best way to impress is being yourself! Thanks for sharing and bringing up the importance of just being who we are!

Love ya all

Hey, Chrissy...you know what?...you'll never need to worry about impressing James.  You've already won him over, totally and completely!

Chrissy won me over the day that I first met her. She is my Angel and I am completely in love with her; and always will be.
Hi-top
Okay Im not a food  person either
On a first date I would love to go to a rock concert
But really what I like doing is going to see a movie at a movie theatre that has the arm rest that go up so I can lay my head on his shoulder (I like being close and cuddling). I wouldnt mind paying. Just I usually cant cuz I get beat to the ticket line.

I agree with Lindsey...i think my first date thingy was kinda cute and funny...we went to the mall then we went to leave and we couldnt get a hold of our parents so we walked to his grandmas talking and laughing the whole way...when we were about 2 blocks from his grandmas house...he asked me out!! but anyway....

lindseys idea rocks!!!!

love always
