sad but needed. people learn from errors and defeats. I'm sure it was a huge learning experience for him. as it was for me in my case when it didn't work out.

what do you think his error was? I think it could be because he didn't act fast enough. and/or it could aslo be because she got to know him, and his character was not that attractive.

Maybe it was as simple as Amy thinking he'd lied to her. they started off as 'just' friends and then he wanted more. Maybe, too, she was scared by that. First love hurts, that's for sure. :'(

he only lied if he promised not to want more.
