i think that the american administration of today and of yesteryear is at fault with regards to the perceived view of america in the wider world, they have manipulated situations to suit there own personal goals,
they supplied sadam hussian with weapons, and also with regards to people saying that he gassed 1 million of his own people to death, i say what did america do when this happened, they did nothing! so i ask myself have the american administration the credentials for fighting this war,
its easy for bush to send his soldiers to war, some of these soldiers will never come back, would bush sends his own son to fight?
do you think the iraqi people approve of this war? when they see innocent baby's burn't to death, when there brother, sister, mother etc lies dead on the roads.
then there is the palestine-israel situation, which has been going on for decades,
people don't seem to realise that it was israel who occupied palestin land first, from which we have come to this situation today, so when you call palestine sucide bombers terrorists, no! i say.
when you see a well educated woman with a bright future blow herself up, what do you think? why does she do it? Â

Just because they are 7 years old does not mean that they may not be a threat. Iraq is a country that trains children for military service at a very young age. Children as young as 5 years old have been seen carrying weapons and engaging in combat. Pregnant women commit suicide bombings. Every person is seen as a potential threat and should be approached with caution until is determined they are not.
If families try to resist the military training, they are tortured or murdered for not supporting their president. Can you imagine what that must be like? Can you imagine the American military torturing or murdering someone that disagrees with the current politics? Doug, can you imagine someone invading your home right now because you expressed an opinion that goes against the current political position? I can't.
Many Iraqis are afraid to express anything different than what the Baath party wants to hear. The man seen smacking Saddam's image with his shoe was later murdered - as well as his family. Why? Because he voiced his opinion.
One man spent years in a torture chamber because he looked at a Baath officer wrong - or was percieved that way. For a look?
More Iraqi's may support the coalition than you think. They are just afraid to say it. I would be afraid to speak my mind there. Other Iraqi's don't know any different. They only know what they have been taught and they believe what they hear - regardless of whether it is the truth or not. It is obvious that the "higher-ups" in Iraq are lying to the public. The information minister appeared on television telling the Iraqi people that coalition forces have not entered Baghdad as smoke drifts past him while tanks are heard rolling by.
Once these people see that there is another way of life and that there are truths that they haven't been told, they will understand why we are there.

i never said that the iraqi regime is humane in the things they do.
what i said was more to do with american adminstrations of today and the past, have constantly armed iraq, gave them chemical weapons.
these are facts we are talking about,
