Hi All!
Silly question perhaps, but I would like to know what political system you prefer.....theoretically ofcourse.
Is there a radical cure for today's political systems?
Politics fascinate me, from a purely amateurs point of view. Yet the more I realise what kind of a stronghold politics have on this world, the more I wonder what a more logical option would be........silly, perhaps?

I am a Centrist, which means that I am directly between Republican and Democrat. However, the parties "Republican" and "Democrat" are meant literally in this instance to mean that a Democrat wishes for the country to take responsibility of the people, and the Republican wishes for the state to do the same. I think that there needs to be a balance between country and state instead of one or the other vying for control over the people.
The big problem I see is that Republicans and Democrats are pidgeonholed into stances on political issues. Most Democrats are for gun control, accept gay marriage, etc.... while Republicans take opposite stances accordingly. I think no matter what party you are involved in, that label should have no say in what your stance on an issue is.
Stereotypes have been handed out to political parties, and politicians now live by them. Do they not have minds of their own?
