Does anybody know how to scan a document (multiple pages) and create one of those PDF things?

I have a scanner.  I've also read/edited/printed PDF documents that other people have sent to me.  I just have no idea how to merge the two concepts.

When it comes to computers, it's a real pain being on the upwards side of 40.  People my age (or older) didn't grow up with all this technology, so we're always struggling to get caught up.  (Ok...so that's my excuse, which sounds so much better than, "Duh...How does this work?) !!!!!

Adobe Acrobat allows you to scan in pages and save as multi-page pdf.

Lori, you'd have to open Adobe Acrobat (the commercial version, not the free "Reader" version), and import the image from the scanner within Acrobat. You'd have to go File>Import>Scan. Acrobat costs $250, but if you look around some of the sites posted in this section of the board, you might find some sites where you could get similar programs for free or for a cheaper price, at least. Good luck!
