one of my "secret" power tools (well, it's not so secret now!), which goes by the name PowerPro, download it here:

Note:  has a slight learning curve, but it's definitely well worth learning.

I love this tool! I have used it for over a year, and there are some parts of it that I'm sure I could make more of. One thing: I used to have an older version and since a hard drive crash have been using a newer one but the *Menu Folder command is not as good - if the folder contains sub-folders, the menu first presents a single drop-down entry of the main folder that must then be selected before the contents appear, giving a slight delay. A minor point, but any ideas?

sorry ID, but I'm not sure how to help you. I've been using PowerPro for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it too. I haven't been using the *Menu Folder command that you have, which is why I can't help you. What I have been using, though, are hot keys and, best of all, macros! The way I have it set up, I can launch any of hundreds of different programs by simply typing in (anywhere) =(program name). For example, if I type in =ps, then I automatically launch adobe photoshop. If I type in =myie, then I automatically launch the (excellent) web browser MyIE. Whatever I want to launch, whether it be programs or files or directories, I can use macros so that typing in particular keywords will launch whatever I want. It's really very handy, and has made my work a lot easier.
