I'm starting my degree this year and as such I've been doing some research into nootropics.
Given that my current aim is to improve overall cognitive function, can someone verify that piracetam with a choline supplement would be a good starting point?
I'm planning on starting on 7.2g of piracetam per day along with two tea spoons of lecithin granules (more if headaches develop).
Also, I've heard an 'attack dose' is often required, is this necessary? If so, what would an appropriate dosage be?
Finally, after the effects of piracetam have been established, what would be a effective addition to it? tending towards the area of improving concentration and focus.
Thanks in advance.

First of all, welcome second of all, experiment with the dosage, begin low and increase until you are satisfied, if you want to add choline then dont buy lecithin, its not good enough, i would suggest cdp choline, and an attack dose isnt required, but some take 3 grams, some take 5 grams.
Begin with this, and come back when you have a good dosage and a good choline source.

Thanks for the response, Mr Bananas.
I live in the UK and shopping around it seems extremely expensive to import the better supplements such as Alpha GPC, Centrophenoxine and CDP Choline.
While obviously not as effective, would 350mg choline bitartrate capsules be an acceptable alternative?

Considering your limited resources it may do. Shipping from US sources vary from $15 and higher on shipping.
