Strikes up in utero well before birth
To keep the beat of everything we do
Through the progress of day through night to day
Through the process of you through me to you

Join my heart to the heartbeat of it all

Before I learned to walk I learned to crawl
I learned to run to the pulse of your love
And having run now I would like to fly
To see what I saw below from above

Eternal why not to my question why
