Please see last post for my new question. Thanks!

Hello everyone,

I'm currently 22 (165 lbs 5'10"), a college senior with one semester left and applying to grad school. I am currently under a great deal of stress and have noticed that my mind is suffering from it. It is often times cloudy, and slower than normal. Even with 7-8 hours of sleep, I find myself thinking too hard and studying so much (6-8 hours a day), and my mental performance slows down and I have a hard time concentrating after 2 hours. I usually find that I do the best right after I wake up or from a nap, but it goes downhill after intense studying. I would like to improve my overall mental performance and increase its stamina.

I have been reading a lot from this forum and it has been very helpful. smile.gif I am about to buy a few things from cognitive nutrition and would really appreciate your input in the proper dosage and if these pills can work together safely in these proper amounts. If not please, advise. Thank you!!!

Piracetam (800mg/pill) 6 pills per day = 4.8 grams per day
CDP Choline (250 mg/pill) 2 pills per day? = .5 grams per day
L-Huperzine A (200 mcg/ pill) 1 or 2 pills per day?
Ashwagandha Extract (250 mg/pill) 1 pill per day?

I also read there are different types of Choline supplements such as Centrophenoxine. Would you recommend the CDP-choline with this stack or the Centrophenoxine (500mg) instead?

I also read that Ashwagandha is good for use before sleep at night or right when you wake up in the morning. Is this correct?

Any other suggestions for stamina? Or is this sufficient for now?
Thanks in advance!

Update: I am also thinking about adding in Vinpocetine 10mg/pill. If I am to add it to the current stack above what is the recommended dose. Thanks again!

I would use Centrophenoxine 500 mg instead. 200-400 mcg of L-Huperzine A. Everything else looks fine. I would use the Ashwagandha at night.

Thank you for the quick reply LifeMirage!. I will buy the Centrophenoxine 500mg instead. Too bad its currently sold out on cognitive nutrition. I guess I will have to wait. I am also thinking about adding in Vinpocetine 10mg/pill. If I am to add it to the current stack above what is the recommended dose. Is 20mg per day sufficient or should I take 30-40 mg per day with the current stack. Thanks again!

Firstly, I want to thank this forum. It has been very helpful to me and my studies. I have a question for LifeMirage. This is what I have been taking for the past month:

Piracetam - 4.8 grams total divided in 3 doses/day
CDP-Choline - 500mg total divided in 2 doses/day
L-Huperzine A - 200 mcg one pill
Vinpocetine -30mg divided 3 doses/day
Ashwagandha - 250mg one pill at night
Gingko Biloba - 120 mg total

With my limited understanding and experience from learning in this forum, Piracetam has overall positive long term effects for the brain. L-Huperzine A helps learning and short term memory but is only temporary. Is this correct?

I have also felt somewhat drowsy or down in terms of mood after taking the L-Huperzine A sometimes and I don't know if its because I am taking it with the Piracetam or possibly from the mix of other things that I am taking. That is one reason I haven't been taking Huperzine everyday.

Anything I should add onto my current stack to help with the drowsiness/mood or should there be any change in my current dosages?
How many hours should I separate taking the Piracetam from the Huperzine? I read that it can be counteractive.

I am also interested in adding something that can help in focus, concentration, as well as creativity.

For focus and concentration I read that pyritinol or phenylethylamine can help? Any suggestion on which one I should go for that is compatible with my current stack?

For creativity, I read that Idebenone will help. What dosage should I add?

Thank you so much for your help!!!

why did you stick to CDP Choline when LifeMirage suggested using Centrophenoxine?

It was sold out at unique nutrition for the longest time so I couldn't buy it. But I am planning on switching once they have it in stock.

In the interest of not starting a redundant thread I'll go ahead and post my stack here and ask for any recommendations:

DMAE Bitartrate - 4 grams/day
Choline Bitartrate - 4 g/day
Piracetam - 4/g day
Theanine - 1 g/day
Ginkgo Biloba - 500mg/day

Also a technical question, how do you suggest one ingests the Piracetam (powder form) and Ginkgo Biloba (also powder). I find them so bitter and sickly sweet as to be almost inedible.

someone needs to ask so I might as well do the honors: what is your age and your goals?

i can't comment on the stack, but you can get capping kits for powders...they should sell them on a lot of nutrition websites. i don't mind the bitterness of piracetam anymore, I just put it on my tongue and wash it down with water. it has a cooling sensation.
