Hi,
I had a low-grade right temporal benign astocracytoma brain tumor removed back in 88' and I'm now 22 years old. I lived basically a normal life but always lacked all implicit perception but excelled in empirical skepticism. However about a year ago everyone started "hearing" me and its been stuck like this all the time for a full year. I'm just trying to find ways to somehow develop and work with and know unscientific cogitative abilities and become in a more awake state of mind.

thank you,
sincerely,
Jeff
Joesus
So you are seeking enlightenment....
JeffAMc
Yes definitely, and I'm trying to find some sort of psychological ways to somehow comprehend these realms of reality that I'm not aware of.
Joesus
Experience may lead to some kind of psychological reference in the habitual box building of relative measure, but the foundation of enlightenment underlies all relative standards assumed as permanent or temporary.
If you wish to supersede the known then do not look for enlightenment amongst the relative limitations of belief and structure of the ego. Rather let go of everything that isn't enlightenment so that enlightenment will unfold. That includes any imagination you might have that lends itself to the idea of enlightenment.

By the way it does help to have a competent set of tools to take the mind below the surface chatter and beliefs.
JeffAMc
That was helpful advice, thank you.

What about constant telepathic broadcasting of the mind. I've been doing this for a year to everyone around me. I'm a loner but my life is not personal at all. I've been trying to find some sort of antagonist to this. Cognitively could it be done through some sort of brain game?
Joesus
Well, there is a saying, "When the student is ready the Teacher will appear."
The psychic resonance of desire finds its way to the conditions that support optimal growth.

If you have seeds and no water it wouldn't necessarily be a good idea to plant seeds where conditions aren't going to support growth.
Perhaps everyone around you, or at least the ones you are thinking about weren't supporting the conditions you needed for optimal growth in the way you were thinking they would but rather supporting you optimally to see how deep your commitment goes.
Generally speaking we can offer a desire to the universe when we hit a spot in life that tends to push out thoughts that aren't really coming from the strength of the heart, or we can touch the very core of our being and realize what we truly want out of life.
We don't often recognize the subtle voice of the heart as much as we do the loud voice of stress and the ego.
Sometimes we think if I only had this or that life would be so much better but when you think about it things that are of no lasting value or impermanent and only satisfy the cravings for instant gratification, then we are eventually back at the wish counter trying to make something else happen to distract us long enough to stop thinking about what we don't like about ourselves and the universe around us.

Some think up to 100,000 thoughts per day, and the pattern of focus is so wide spread that the mind rarely settles into anything of value. Some thoughts cancel other out like dropping so many pebbles into a pond creating chop, where ripples crash into each other. It takes a still mind with a refined awareness to take one idea at a time and to drop it into a still universal well that will send a steady ripple towards the shore of manifestation.

The universe doesn't support vacillation but it can reflect chaotic impulses of changing desires by giving you nothing. It does support one pointed faith and desire and will give you everything you wish for if there is no conflict of thought or emotion.

Have you corroborated with those people around you that you are actually doing this? Have you tested this ability appropriately? If it turns out that you can do this, how do you feel about taking part in research? Otherwise have you investigated that it might be a symptom? Without wanting to scare you into thinking that you're schiozphrenic, patients with schizophrenia can experience this type of phenomena, its called thought broadcast. It may be a result of your removed tumour that you might have some strange symptoms.

Well what I'm doing is just some sort of ordinary function of the mind that I'm not aware of. Yeah, I was testing it a lot at first about a year ago but it has shown me that its all too real to be skeptical about. Its all happening all around me and I don't really no how to approach it in the correct way to actually comprehend it. I hope you understand what I mean, people say things like "get off the phone", "shut up", ect basically I don't really know what to make of it all, although it shows that there is a lot more to life to be conscious of beyond science, its just the foundations of knowledge are not in place so it all remains delusional and I'm basically just drawn away into my room and back to something like reading textbooks because thats all thats readily seen. I'm just trying to find some sort of way to fathom this all because how absurd everything is has basically left me floating in insanity wondering what to do.

Have you tried having someone sit in front of you, write a list of things to broadcast and do not show the other person, broadcast each of the things on the list to the person, then get the person to write what you broadcast down without any intervening discussion or communication?

You realise this puts you in the draw for a million dollar prize?
JeffAMc
No, this is just regular broadcasting through the open airwaves. Everyone can do it I guess although I don't hear other people often, I'm definitely broadcasting to everyone around me though, theres no way I could disprove this.
Joesus
Everyone does it.

You speak for your self, J. I only "broadcast" my thoughts to myself. I can hear my own thoughts in English, but I can't hear or broadcast to anybody. If I could, I would immediately hire the English gecko and the 2 Sonic drive-through guys from tv and make a killing on selling advertising space.
Joesus
Anyone can tune into the emotions and thoughts of another. We don't always consciously think in every moment I don't want another to know or I want another to know what I am feeling and thinking.
We by unconscious association to those we are familiar with, allow our minds to come into clearer awareness of those we have close relationships to. Friends and family are easily heard when we tune into them and are not distracted by our own thoughts. We can feel them and hear them through the heart and mind.
When we are not distracted by the chatter of thought in our own minds we can tune into the thoughts and feelings of others.
The fact is not many want to and not many have trained themselves to listen.

I should add tho that there is a mechanism which prevents any invasion of thought that might influence another's free will. Also one would not want to be bombarded with the thoughts of others even if those others were intentionally trying to make themselves known by some kind of psychic intention.
If one is stable in their own conscious awareness of Self, where they cannot be shaken from that stability of being, the intuitive senses would feel the presence of one who was calling out. But just like the sensibilities of discernment that one has in walking past a fruit stand and can visually inspect the produce not all vegetables are going to merit the attention of someone who can tell whether a vegetable is a good one or not.

There are all kinds of psychic influences that look for weak minds, and some people invite them in without any intelligent discernment. I've met a couple of these types of people and they wreak of multiple entities. One woman had 9 different entities attached to her and she would babble on about how she could feel them come to her and how she felt sorry for them and would try to give them comfort. The only problem was she couldn't compensate for the way they drained her of her health and strength and even tho she knew it was happening she continued to allow it. You could look into her eyes and see layers of personalities behind the one who was speaking to you. They didn't try to take over her mind they just latched on like parasites feeding off of her energies.
Sometimes a soul who has a great attachment to the physical world will latch itself onto another after losing their own body. Because there are things that are familiar to them in a particular patch of time and space they are unwilling to move on.

There is an interesting book on the subject by a Dr. Samuel Sagan M.D. called "Entity Possession" freeing the body from negative influences, if anyone is interested.

Would you humour me for a moment and just try what I suggested?

I think this will make you go even more insane by listening to people's ideas and try to adopt them, . it'll simply confuse your personality even more. Tumor recovery doesn't have anything to do with the way how you can train your brain to recover. there are biological basis taken into account toward brain plasticity and the term of recovery. Unfortunately, there are therapies that does alot of this and make good money. P.S.

Yeah, I've been getting more insane, cause all I really know is just on a academic level. All this has just been going on around me for a year and I don't really know what to make of it and don't understand it at all. I'm just always thinking and everyone shows there hearing it so it all is delusional for me. I do try to work with them through this sometimes and try to change my personality. But idk, my whole life is open constantly and I'm sometimes just worry for days and don't go out or anything because of it. I'm trying to figure out exactly what "the phone" is and like what it is that I'm doing that is this broadcasting and how to do the opposite.

I know how you feel, but I definitely suggest you see a specialized brain doctor to do different brain scans CT/ PET and tells you exactly what you have, preferably MD. the reason is some unprofessionals will tell you some weird ass tests to try and make you develop Neurosis.. a disorder that puts you in a state where you try to figure yourself by simply looking at the way your nervous system behave to try to prove something is wrong with you by telling you that you do have the symptoms of schitzophrenia , OBS Comp. etc.. although you might behave in these extent doesn't mean you do have those disorders (which may sound contradicting) but really could be due to the tumor removal you were recovering from as somebody mentioned earlier.
GOOD LUCK.
