I did a search and found this:

I've used and given Huperzine A to many people. For most it is one of the best nootropics that can make a rather noticeable impact on short-term memory. It also has been shown to affect Nerve Growth Factor and have some neuroprotective effects on the NMDA receptors. Its pretty safe unless you happen to be on other AChEI's or taking too much ACh precursors. Then the risk of nausea, headache, increased sweating, and/or salvia production can occur. Its always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider before taking any supplements.Several companies sell Huperzine A.

Regarding the headache, i woke up with one this morning, the doses i have taken are 100mcg, 200mcg and today 100mcg, all days i have also used about 7grams of lecithin. Are there other scenarios of headaches with huperzine that i actively can avoid? For instance, it seems to be diuretic, can that cause a headache if i drink too little?

And about the diarrhea, is that actively avoidable? Is it food dependant or does perhaps lecithin cause that some times too?

I do realize i could just wait it out and see for my self, but how about making a FAQ for every nootropic, like the pinned research threads but with a FAQ for all short questions like these two, and the one i had about alcohol yesterday.
mrpijoe
i get something similar to the squirts but not quite that bad lol.. more consistency, but it is annoying!

Bowel changes are not probably with Huperzine. Lecithin it's common. Personally lecithin should be avoided by everyone.

Rly, why is that? I have always believed it was a choline giver?

It's a poor source of choline and high in fat. PPC would be the superior form.

What have you been eating with it?
Souper Douper Pouper
Nothing out of the ordinary. I took it on an empty stomach largely, and ate a baked potato later. Honestly, I just think there are some people who can't take it!! That said, I'm fine on Piracetam-no problems ot speak of... and am curious about Oxiracetam and Aniracetam.
