I just have a few simple questions. First off about me. I am an air traffic control so I am looking to enhance my memory and quick decision making ability with a better and more complete cognitive response to the situation. I would also like to become a more fluent speaker as when perplexed once in a while I stutter. I do realize supplements are only a small part of fixing or maximizing my potential. I can tell that I have damage to my speech and memory. Here is what I started taking over a week ago: Please let me know if this is a good start or not and if I should change doses

Ginkgo biloba 120 mg 1/day
phosphatidyl serine 100mg 3/day
choline bitartrate 650mg 1/day
rna/dna 100/100mg 1/day
fish oil 1200mg 1/day
co q10 10mg 3/day
ACETYL L-CARNITINE 1000 mg. Capsules
just added:
vinpocetine 10mg 2/day
ashwagandha 300mg 1/day before bed
piracetam 800mg caps(6-10 a day)
huperzine A 300-400mg a day
pyritinol 800-1200mg
vtroid5
I'd add hydergine
mrpijoe
ordered:

vinpocetine and ASHWAGANDHA today so those will be added next week when it arrives. The mental clarity has definitely gotten better and I have definitely had more energy in he two weeks on my current regimine. My verbal skills appear to be better and short term memory slightly better. I'm sure with more time on my regimine it will get even better. I will have to do more research on the hydergine, but from what I looks it appears to be a pretty promising and possible addition to my current regimine. thanks!

I received the vinpocetine an ashwagandha that I ordered when I got home from work last night. i read on here to take the ashwagandha before bed on an empty stomach so that's what I did. I havent taken any vinpocetine yet but I will with my morning start. However starting the ashwagandha, wow I could definitely tell. I was awake at 6 oclock wide awake and very mentally alert. My gf started complaining and I was so mentally there that early in the morning I quickly made her be quiet with her griping. I was very funny. I feel so more aware of everything is so much clearer. But anyways I thought I would share my experience. I only took 300 mg so I don't know how long this dosage will last but that's just one pill so it seems to be a right amount for me. This has definitely been the most noticeable pill in my regimine. I have only been on y regimine for about 2 weeks now and last night was my first time with ashwagandha.

Hey Everyone,
I was turned on to nootropics by a co-worker and I came across this forum through online research. This forum has been a great help. I thought I would post in an existing thread rather than create a new one.

I purchased the following enhancers and would like some advice on possible combinations and dosages:

Cognitive Nutrition Piracetam 800 mg
Cognitive Nutrition Centrophenoxine 500 mg
Cognitive Nutrition L-Huperzine A 200 mcg
Unique Nutrition Aniracetam 750 mg

I'm 32, 5'9", 178lbs (lift weights), I'm currently studying for several certification exams. I need help focusing at work and during study. I'm also looking for improved memory retention for test taking purposes.

i have now been taking piracetam and huperzine by cognitive nutrition for about a week. I take anywhere from 4 to 6 800mg caps of piracetam depending on the training I have that day. It seems to be a fairly excellent product and am looking forward to changing to aniracetam later on. The huperzine is working, albeit how well I do not know. I started off at 200 mg, but when I have my evals at work(i am a training air traffic controller), I take around 300-400 mg. I seem to have a better memory in instantaneous recall for sure but only when i take higher doses. The piracetam has helped tremendously which my speech when used in higher doses.

That DNA/RNA does'nt do anything, why do you take that?

I can't confirm or deny any benefit from using this, as I started with 7 supplements off the bat, but I have gained the mental clarity and sharpness that I lost throughout the last 4-5 years. I was in a constant fog and it was very hard to get rid of. Working out and a good diet helped, but my initial 7 sups totally removed the mental fog. I still have some anxiety but not as much though, but I haven't really addressed that as it isn't my top top concern. I figure even in the least, it could all be placebo(which it isnt), but that would be just fine and worth it to me if somehow it was.
From what I read, and I didn't read alot of info on RNA/DNA, this is the benefits gained from use:

RNA(ribonucleic acid)/DNA

Dosage - 100mcg/100mcg

Benefits:
RNA/DNA combinations are used to improve memory and mental sharpness. Ribonucleic Acid improves the ability to learn and can lengthen a life span. It is used to improve and treat Alzheimer’s, depression, and to increase general energy levels. The nutrient tightens the skin, increases the sex drive and helps to counter the aging effects
RNA may also be helpful in the recovery after surgical procedures. The nutrient helps to boost the immune system response. It helps to improve the prognosis of burn victims.

An RNA supplemented diet seems to reduce the occurrence of peri-operative infections. The nutrient improves wound healing. It also reduces recovery time.

Most organisms can synthesize RNA/DNA - dietary nucleotides. These are derivatives of DNA/RNA. They appear to be essential under conditions of rapid growth, for example, during intestinal development, liver resection or injury, or during challenges to the immune system.

Do have a study that can support that? As far as im concerned, DNA/RNA is the "code of life" and is used to make proteins.

no all i have to go on is all the different websites that I have read. It was cheap with no side effects so I added it into my regimine. If that is your reason why not to take it, I wouldn't think that's a very logical reason. But no I haven't read any case studies at this time, but from the websites like bodybuilding.com and among other easily readable from a google search it sounded promising...

Thanks mrpijoe, that seems like a reasonable dosage. I started with 2 caps of piracetam and 1 cap Centrophenoxine in the morning and in the afternoon. I don't know if anxiety/irritation is a side effect or maybe it's just in my head, but those were some of the feelings I noticed after taking the supplements.

Alright, try this: Visualize that, using a pump, you are blowing up a balloon. As it expands, you notice stretch marks on the surface of the balloon. To prevent it from bursting you apply physical patches to the stretch-marked areas. Meanwhile, carelessly, you continue to blow up the balloon.
It doesn't take too much imagination to see that, eventually, the balloon will burst. The patching can even hasten the balloon's demise.

The solution. Get back to the source of the problem. Ask yourself: "What maximum pressure is the balloon designed to take? And, why am I doing this? What purpose is it that I am hoping to accomplish?

In my opinion, when it comes to total health we are not just somatological (physical) or animal-like beings, we are holistic ones. In addition to being physical beings, we are psychological (mental) and pneumatological (spiritual), humane-like, beings.

still taking all the initial sups, but added 800-1200 mg of pyritinol a day. so far not too sure of the results from it. I've taken it for 3 days so I think I still need more time before I decide whether it is worth it or not

Well actually, I haven't taken the ashwagandha for about a week. I do feel better stress wise and just basically calmer on it but it is very hard for me to wake up in the morning. Does anyone take it during the day?
