Came across this and am interested in possibly starting using it. It is supposed to improve memory as well as muscle growth. Does anyone know anything about it or have any experiences. Any recommendation on dose size?

Little effect on muscle growth. It does help with memory and is a good basic nootropic. 30-40 mg daily when used alone.

I have only anecdotal evidence at this time, but I read somewhere that athletes in europe have been using it for its possible reactibility enhancing effects, ie faster reaction times for sport, gross motor coordination and decision making.

Muscle growth is mostly dependent on Calories.

Start off by eating 500 calories above the calories needed to maintain current weight (maintenance calories)

heres a calculator to determine how much calories you need to maintain your bodyweight.
whatever number you get, add 500-1000 calories to it.

and dont add 500 calories of junk, i mean 500 calories of slow digesting carbs (oats, brown rice, yams)
and protein (which can come from steak, chicken, turkey,fish or protein shakes)


thatll FUEL muscle growth. Trust me. I gained 56 lbs in a year on this.
Remember, food is the most ANABOLIC substance in the world.

I took Vinpocetine for a week about a month ago, and in all honesty all it did for me was amp me up and make my extremities cold. That said, it seems to help a lot of people, so good luck.

A week is an insufficient period of time to review a compound's effect on your brain and body. As important is dosage which vary and should be adjusted accordingly.
