N-Acetyl-Cysteine is known for raising the endogenous detoxifier Glutathione. Is it possible that taking NAC pills can increase speed up the metabolism/elimination of any prescription drugs or nootropics? Just wondering because its not just P 450 that metabolizes drugs. If it can eliminate Tylenol's toxic metabolite, maybe it can eliminate other drugs? What is the name of the metabolic mechanism that Glutathione is involved in, if there is one? E.G. sulfoxidation?, glucuronidation? whatever?

Should have little meaningful effect on most nootropics.
